Chapter 26 ~ Phase 1

Shelby Pov

I walk through the front door of my house as I just got home from lunch with Mez
I take my shoes off as I close the front door and walk upstairs, stepping into my bedroom, locking the door behind me

The thought of Mez being unhappy and afraid of getting hurt, kind of upsets me knowing that  that's how she's living in her own world
I hate seeing her like this and I just want to do as much as I can to bring her some happiness into her life

That's when I realize that Chris is the only person who can do that

Its like, she changed into someone so different when she and Chris started talking but what I can say is that she's found someone who really cares about her

She just doesn't know it yet...

As I drop my phone out of my pocket, I hear my message tone go off and to who I thought it would be Mez or Ethan, it was Chris

C – Shelby I don't know what to do

S – Why? What's wrong?

C – i think I might have feelings for Mez

Omg YESS, I knew it!! I say for a moment as a little squeal escapes my mouth

C – I just don't think I can leave her and go back to my normal life again

S – Chris, you'll be fine okay don't worry I'll keep a close eye on her, your fans are counting on you to stay strong and be the best that you can possibly be

C – you're probably right, just promise me that you'll take good care of her while I'm gone

S – I promise

I shut my phone off and lay it on top of my bed
I quickly get changed from my clothes and put something more comfortable on. I am wearing my black full length leggings along with my Adidas T-shirt

I flop down onto my bed, taking up half the space around it

I lay there in the dead silence, looking up at the roof and not saying. A word

I am in that trance for a few minutes until I suddenly hear loud and pounding raindrops hitting my outside window

I sit up right from my bed and look outside of my window as I watch each and every raindrop fall onto my window ledge

The wet droplets immediately stop after a few seconds as I sit there and watch all the water soak up the grass

I decide to text Ethan, to motion that I'm going to try and set up Mez and Chris 

I don't exactly know what my plan is, but I'll eventually just make it up as I go

I pick up my phone from my bed and click into my messages where it says "Ethø xx"

S – babe, I need your help

He then immediately replies

E – yeh what's up?

S – we need to get Chris & Mez together

E – how?

S – that's why i need your help, can you talk to Chris?

E – anything for my baby girl xx

I then put down my phone and gather my clothes to take a quick shower

I'm sure Ethan will fill me in on it later

Ethan Pov

I can see it In Chris' eyes that he wants to be with Mez, from the very start when they started talking, I could see that she really means a lot to him. I think he's just scared that she won't feel the same way
