"You wanted us, Saru-chan?" I asked as Team 7 walked into the office. Sarutobi looked up from his papers infront of him and nodded, giving a little smile. I thought back to where we are currently in the plot as Saru-chan spoke to Kakashi. We had just rescued Panda-chan, so...someone was missing.

"Ahem. Kuroi, are you listening?" Saru-chan asked, and it clicked. The formal meeting. The entire Team. I sighed. This would be hard to sort out.

"Where is he?" I asked, and his eyes widened, before he smiled and leaned back in his chair.

"I really should be accustomed to this by now." he said. Meanwhile, the rest of the team was staring between us.

"Who are you talking about, Kuroi-chan, old man?" he asked, and I sighed.

"You do realize he wasn't supposed to be here, right? 'Cuz emo ass here didn't go off to the snake bastard." I said, and there was shuffling in the room. Obviously that was a touchy subject. I sighed.

"Saru-chan, it's already a four cell team, and that was only under severe circumstances." I said, and he shot me a look.

"Severe circumstances? You mean not leaving me alone until I had agreed and made a written contract signed with my blood?" he asked, and I brushed it aside casually.

"That's not important." I cleared my throat.

"It isn't, is it..." Saru-chan was obviously amused. Grr.

"Anywhore, the thing still is that there's never before been a five man squad." I said, and he smiled.

"No, but this team has three Gennin in it, doesn't it?" he asked, and I nodded, (she's still a jounin, ppl) not seeing his point. He then smiled.

"Then, you will take charge of the team along with Kakashi, and the 'severe circumstances' will once again be met, making this team a four man squad." he said, and I groaned.

"Saru-chan, am I allowed to kill Danzo?" I grumbled, so only he could hear me. He looked slightly surprised I knew the name, but got over it and shook his head, smirking.

"Not if I do it first." he replied, and I laughed.

"Okay, fine, you win. Where is the asshole?" I asked, and he clapped, and all of a sudden, he was there in front of me, smiling in that way of his and with a kunai to my neck. I grinned and stepped forward, the kunai cutting through my neck, drawing blood. Lots of blood. Sakura gasped, while the others sighed in a way that said, 'there she goes showing off again'

"Yo, Sai. Haven't actually met you before now, but I know you very well. Nice to meetcha." I said, shaking his hand. He had a confused/surprised expression on, something you would only notice if you actually knew Sai. After all, he always looks the same, doesn't he?

"Does it not-"

"Hurt? Yes, yes, it does." I cut him off.

"Then why do you not make it stop hurting?" he asked.

"Why do you care?" I asked.

"I don't." came the response. I nodded.

"Good." I said, then went closer, the kunai cutting into my neck, my blood staining Saru-chan's floor.

"Why?" he asked, and I shrugged.

"Why not?" he looked perplexed.

"Pain is an unpleasant feeling." He reasoned out. I nodded.

"You're right, it is." I replied.

There was silence as I took hold of his hand holding the kunai and dragged it across my throat. He snatched his hand away, dropping the kunai and looking at me with a confused expression.
