"This is it people, the last rehearsal before the big day!" Mr. Peter exclaimed in glee and everyone else clapped excitedly. "Show your best and imagine that this is the real play, so do your jobs without leaving any regrets!"

I took a deep sigh as I went to the backstage to get ready for my cue and did some warm-ups for my voice and facial expression. Luke and I entered the room at the same time, and he just held the door for me and I silently got in first, murmuring my gratitude.

Taking a glance at my co-star, who was running his hand through his hair, which I usually saw before we start practicing on stage. He stopped for a brief moment and looked at me in the eyes before breaking the eye contact and acted like he didn't see me.

I rolled my eyes at his sudden action before scanning my eyes through the script. "God, it's too cheesy I can't do it," I muttered to myself, in hopes I'll get an answer from my co-star aka partner.

Unexpectedly, he turned to face me and offered to help. "Which part do you want to perfect on?" He asked as he looked at the cheesy lines we had to perform. "I'd say I'm perfect already so I can help."

Oh joy, so much for thinking his ego has deflated.

"Wanna go through all the lines until it's time?" I offered and he surprisingly agreed.

As we were going through the lines, I couldn't help but notice how passionate he was into his role, and whenever we were acting out, his own self-centered character was nowhere to be seen, and all I could see was a really good actor. His cerulean blue eyes would captivate me from time to time due to the seriousness of his passion shown through those eyes.

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad that he's my co-star.

We somehow made it through the end of the play just in time as it was time for us to go up on stage to do our final rehearsal before the actual play.

"Actors, are you ready?" Mr. Peter shouted from the back of the auditorium, all of us who were acting gathered on stage and gave him a nod. "Please give it your best shot! Good luck guys."

We all got out of the stage and waited for our queues.

Ivy, the girl in charge of the voice-over started the play, meaning that I had to get up on stage as Audrey. "I've heard many stories about love at first sight, but I've always had doubts about it."

Luke came into the scene as Logan and walked quickly to my direction, causing me to throw the (now empty) bucket at him in surprise, and he looked at me in pure annoyance. Upon seeing his face, the feeling of guilt was long gone.

"But now I know that Annoyed at First Sight is real," Ivy finished her introduction narration.

"I am sorry," 'Logan' started as he made eye contact with me, Audrey. "I guess you should watch where you are going."

I let out a small scoff. "Oh, I am so sorry," I answered with sarcasm dripping in every tone. "I didn't know I was the one who was walking so hurriedly."

Oh boy, this sure feels like a deja vu.

"How did the final rehearsal go?" Michelle asked as I sat down across her as I stole her fry.

Right now, Michelle and I are at a cafe near our school while waiting for Nate who was still at school to finish his assignment which he forgot to do.

"It was okay," I simply answered and she raised her eyebrow. "What?"

She looked at me with her brown eyes as if she was scanning my face, and I started to feel self-conscious as someone as beautiful as Michelle was looking at me. "It's just weird...no complaints from your beloved co-star anymore?"
