MONSTROUS.

The trigger from Leonard's gun was pulled exhaling a cold gush of ice, freezing one of the three beers that was positioned for targeting. Crystal let go of the trigger, and for it being her first time shooting it wasn't a terrible shot. Leonard once taught her how to shoot it, in an attempt to get closer to her and of course she couldn't resist. However she passed it to Ray, who was now the one that was manning it. A tool that would give Ray more of a reason to be a hero and a reason for Mick to gain a partner, yet Crystal couldn't help but feel somber seeing another man taking on Leonard's gun.

"Easy, point and shoot." Crystal passed it along to Ray while she leaned against a truck filled of equipment with Mick alongside her doing the same.

"You're up and try not to get bested by a woman, Haircut."

"You can't expect me to beat Crystal, she dated Leonard who probably showed her a couple of tricks on this gun." Ray said.

"And she can hear you all the better, so you better get a move on it." Crystal sasses back with Ray placing Leonard's googles on his eyes, having a small jab at Crystal.

"All right, point and shoot." Ray pointed and shot at the beers ultimately shattering them causing a upset Mick to respond, "You killed my beers."

"Come on, the trigger's really sensitive, and these goggles make everything look blue." Ray tried finding excuses as to why he wasn't getting it, the goggles were almost about to hit the ground until Crystal swooped and saved them, holding them to her heart.

"I've never had a problem with his goggles. Perhaps you have to admit that you need more time to handle the gun." Crystal walked past Ray and joining Mick's side once again watching as to what Ray was doing.

"You know, it'd be really easy for me to improve this whole setup by just iterating the power source."

"There's nothing wrong with the gun." The two said in unison scaring Ray a bit but Mick soon eased his nerves.

"You've just gotta be cool. Like Snart." But no one could be cool like Leonard, no one could replace him and that's what Mick was enforcing on Ray. To be a copy of his old partner, of her lost love.

"Yeah, I can be cool." Ray tried walking relaxed and leaned against the doorway and sighed, coming off as a douche. It was clearly noticeable by the two of them, instantly bringing their eyebrows to raise.

"What are you doing?" Crystal asked.

"Trying to be cool." Ray replied instantly breaking the cool mood that he was trying so hard at.

"Maybe this was a bad idea." Mick announced to Crystal, who didn't agree or disagree. No one got to be a hero or a villain in just one shot.

"You know, this may shock you, but I was considered extremely cool when I left my cushy six-figure Silicon Valley job and started my own tech company. Ladies were lining up."

"Listen, Haircut, if you want to fit into Snart's shoes, you gotta find the pain, the darkness, the anger. You got it in you?" Mick asked in a harsh tone, ultimately bringing the nasty part of Ray out.

"Call me Haircut again and I'll ice you."

"Not bad." Mick smirked and though it made Crystal happy to see Mick smile for a bit, she had her semi empty, broken, and dead heart drop into her stomach yet putting on her smile even if it was a fake one. She couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of hope that Ray would live up to Mick's expectations while not losing a part of himself in the process.
