Trigger

It happend again, you hit me where I'm weak

Baby, I still can't breathe,

What do you want from me? What is it you seek?

Do you want to see me break? Do you like to see me bleed?

Does it feed your hunger? Fulfill your needs?

You slash me with your knife again and again,

As if I am paper and the knife is your pen

You leave a new scar everyday,

And leave me to cry every night away,

You apologize the next morning, and I accept,

Knowing that the next night I'll be left a wreck,

Every time you smile at me,

It feels like salt in the wound like your laughing right at me,

It hurts to think of the good times, you and I,

Because now when I see you, I just want to die,

One day, you go too far,

You left more then your usual scars,

You raised a gun and pulled the trigger,

This was bound to happen I figured,

Now I'm gone and no longer being used,

I just wish you shot me first before you abused.

This was inspired by Taylor Swift's song Bad Blood. I wrote it a couple of years ago when I finally came out the other side of something pretty bad, thank you all who have been taking time to read my poems, it really does mean a lot to me.
