Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Louis Tomlinson, friends...well friend calls me Lou. Im 21 and my only friend is a girl called Katie! We have been best friends since i can remember. She helps me with all my problems and i have A LOT of them! She is kind of like the mum i never had. At home there is my parents and my 4 younger sisters Lottie, Fizzy and the twins Daisy and Phoebe. We aren't the RICHEST family we live in a rundown house in Doncaster. Home life is the WORST! My mum and dad always argue which leaves me to look after my siblings. It's really hard telling them that everything is going to be ok when you know its REALLY not! Anyway...I work at a small Starbucks close to my house to support my family and help pay for food even though it doesn't pay much. At school im know as the 'nerd'. I get A's in every subject and not to brag... but im also known as the teacher's pet! And being a 'nerd' isn't really a good thing... i get bullied by a guy called Hary Styles and his punk best friends Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne. Everyday i come home with fresh cuts and bruises covering my body not that my parents care, they are too busy arguing or my dad is out getting drunk and my mum is locked away in her bedroom. There is a BIG secret that only Katie knows. I have a hard enough life as it is without my parents either kicking me out.... Im Gay

I was walking home in the crisp winter breeze listening to music on my phone. It was dark with only a few street lamps around the outside of the park. The park is my favourite place because i can be alone and walk around without people judging me like the rest of the people in my life. I sometimes lie under a tree and watch the stars and get lost in their beauty. I look at my watch ITS 10:37!!! Well i better get ready for another punishment. I sigh as i get up and brush the mud and dust from my clothes and start running home. Just as i was about to turn into my driveway i bumped into someone and dropped all my papers. 'just my luck' i mumble to myself as i start to pick up my papers not bothering to say sorry. 'Watch where you're going NERD!' I knew that voice. Harry. Before i could pick myself up Harry slammed me against a car 'you BETTER watch where you are going!' Harry spat 'I-I-Im sorry.' I stuttered mentally cursing myself for sounding so weak. He slammed me harder against the car and i felt the glass of the window shatter underneath me and blood running down my head. I started to go light-headed and the last thing i knew was Harry punching me and walking away laughing before everything went black.....
