***Another sad day arrived. Kado's burial-well it wasn't actually a burial since his body was no where to be found.

They had a big picture of him made with a bunch of flowers surrounding it. Moonie was surprised, Kado was much more handsome in the picture without all of those tattoos and shit; Kain was really his twin.

They had his little funeral in a Catholic church, it was the same church that they attended as little kids and Patrice still went to the church regularly, she would drag Samaria out with her as well. Being annoying.

The family sat on the front pew that was on the left side. From left to right on the pew there was Adonis consoling his wife Patrice, Grandma Selene, Grandma Isabelle, Samaria, Persia, Ava, Moonie, Kain, Kareem, and Diesel with his wife, Lindsay. On the second pew was some of their family who had came down from the Dominican Republic and Philly.

Moonie was ready to leave, the church was just way too sad for her. People were actually shedding real tears for Kado and the choir wasn't making it any better with the sad ass songs. Moonie actually felt bad for him. She looked over to her right and notice Kain just sitting there with a sleeping Kirsten in his arms. He hadn't shed a tear yet, he just listened closely to what the pastor was saying.

Moonie sighed heavily, she felt someone's hands on her shoulder, she turned around a little and notice that it was just this older woman, her name was Benny, she was one of Kains Dominican aunts, on his dad's side.

"You have a beautiful family." She whispered to Moonie.

"Thank you." Moonie mouthed back with a smile. She felt like that Benny could've waited to tell her that, she was just being annoying.

Kain's aunt gave her a small pat on her shoulder and went back to listening to the pastor.

After the service was over, Kain's family, his mom and dad side, all huddled up together and started mingling. Kirsten had woken up and now she was being passed around from relative to relative, which kind of pissed Moonie off because she didn't like different people kissing and holding on her baby, she didn't care if they was kin to her daughter; still she didn't play that. There was people in the world with hepatitis and shit.

"Kain's holding up pretty good." Ava said, sneaking up beside Moonie.

"Yeah, he didn't shed a tear." Moonie replied back while grabbing her purse and Kirsten's diaper bag.

"I'm surprised I even shed a tear for Kado's evil ass." Ava said which made Moonie smile. "I'm surprised too." Moonie agreed. She spotted Samaria talking to Persia so she and Ava went over.

"Look at this belly." Moonie smiled while touching her sister-in-law's belly and then giving her a big hug.

"Everything is going to be alright." Moonie whispered to her. "Don't go stressing Samaria, you're carrying my little nephew now."

"I'm fine Moonie." Samaria smiled but Moonie knew that it wasn't genuine. Samaria had managed to stay well put together but everytime she started to feel like herself again, something bad would happen. Like death.

Samaria still kept herself up, she wasn't walking around all raggedy and tore up but to Moonie, it was her personality that had changed, she wasn't the same ole loud mouth fiesty Samaria. She was oh so sweet and humble now.

Moonie gave Persia a hug also, she didn't look herself. Her makeup was running a little from all of the crying she was doing and now she had this pitiful look on her face. Moonie felt for Persia and Samaria. Their unborn babies would be fatherless.

She didn't want to ever have to experience that. She didn't want to bring a baby into the world without her man by her side.

Moonie spotted Patrice and notice that she busy adjusting her hat. She was about to walk over and talk to her until Patrice's old ass stared right in her face and mugged her. She then turned away as if she was all of that.
