Chapter 6

Mackenzie's POV

There's something inside that book that he's hiding. I need to find what's in it. It's finally 6 pm and Lauren is still not home.

"What time does Lauren get back home?" I ask.

"She comes home at 8, sometimes 7:30 but it happens rarely", he answers.

There was an awkward silence. I break that silence and suggested if we could play truth or dare. He agrees.

"Who goes first?" I ask.

"What about you start first", He suggested.

"Ok, truth or dare?" I ask.

"Uhm, I'll go with truth!" he says.

"Why do you call me names?" I say.

He sits frozen. He seems to have a hard time answering. Finally he speaks.

"Well, It's been a long time since I've had a girl-FRIEND, so I decided to start our friendship annoyingly", he answers.

That was a lie. I could tell. The game went on for a long time until he asked a question.

J- truth or dare?

M-truth.

j-would you date me or not?

M-ooh, this is a hard one.

J-well c'mon, I don't have all day.

M-Do you want me to be honest?

J-sure why not.

M -*sigh* yes I would.

Johnny's eyes widened. I can tell he was surprised. It was finally my turn.

M-truth or dare?

J-Truth.

M-would YOU date me or not?

J-Yes I would.

M-well...that was quick.

J-because it was easy to answer.

My eyes widened. My heart skipping a beat. I couldn't help it but smile. My cheeks were red. I could feel it. We looked into each others eyes. I looked away to end the moment.

Johnny's POV

We had our moment there. I couldn't believe I said that. Her cheeks were cherry red.

"Well, It's my turn", I say.

She says nothing but smiles.

"Truth or dare?" I ask.

"Dare", she replies.

I couldn't bear but say,

"I dare you to kiss me", I say surprisingly.

"Well dares a dare", she leans in.

She grabbed my hand and closed her eyes. Her lips touches mine. I was shocked. It was my first ever kiss. She let's go.

"Let me guess, that was your first time?" she asks.

"Yes it was", I say cheerfully.

P.S. hey guys its samantha. the reason i've been gone is because ive been on my school camp and i have just arrived yesterday. Chapter 7 is coming later on but I'm glad you guys like my book.
