Zen had made it just in time to tackle Hyun-a before she killed Saeran in a blind rage. The gun had gone off though, and someone yelled out in pain, he just didn't know who. All those years doing his own stunts for his movies really paid off, didn't it? The two grunted as they rolled a foot away from the shocked Saeran. Hyun-a wasted no time in tackling and immobilizing Zen, relying on the muscle memory her body retained.

"H-Hyun-a! Stop!"

The pained voice Saeyoung used caught her attention. Her eyes widened in horror as she watched him clutch a bullet wound in his left arm. "Saeyoung? Did I...?" The woman was too afraid to even ask because she knew the truth already. The stray bullet from her gun had unluckily hit the red haired male. Her gaze traveled down to Zen who was clenching his teeth in slight pain. Immediately she jumped off of him and backed away.

Now look at what you've done. You hurt him either way. This was just physical.

That damn voice was back! It only came around when she felt conflicted or too emotional. Tanaka warned her, emotions make you do irrational things. This wasn't the first time she had learned that fact though. In her first years at the organization she had made many mistakes, some of which Tanaka had not forgiven her for.

"I'm sorry... I couldn't stop myself—"

"From killing someone?! How the hell can you even have the heart to do it?" Zen interrupted with a snap. His crimson hues were blazing with pent up fury and seemed to burn her very existence. Slowly, he stood to face her. "I thought I knew you, but all I knew was Kiri, and that's not even your real name is it?" Hyun-a stood stoic, lips parted in surprise as Zen exploded at her. Saeran had taken the time to run while they were distracted to find his savior and help her escape.

"Who are you? What kind of sick monster are you?" Zen pressed with a step forwards. Hyun-a found herself having to climb onto the ledge to escape him. Immediately Saeyoung did the same in an effort to protect her from the red fury Zen radiated. "I'm sorry." Was all she could say in response as she stared at the ground. "Stop harassing her Zen," the wounded hacker intercepted. It only seemed to anger him more.

"She lied to us. She's killed people! She used us, Luciel. How can you just stand up and protect her after she tried to kill your brother?"

It made Saeyoung pause with eyes widened, she did attempt to kill Saeran but..."But she didn't. He isn't dead! She stopped herself before she did it!" He protested with a creased brow. Zen couldn't believe it, was he the only one who saw what she really was? His eyes darted to the ever-stoic Jumin who was watching with a far-away look in his eye. I had forgotten...V just died. He knew that V had been a childhood friend to Jumin and hadn't even considered the fact that he might be broken.

Zen had always disliked the black haired male, but he couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for him. Jaehee did her best to remain as placid at her boss, but the underlying disappointment in her eyes couldn't be so easily hidden. Hyun-a didn't know why it hurt so much every time Zen accused her, or the flutter in her chest when Saeyoung defended her. She didn't deserve to be protected.

"Saeyoung," She murmured just loud enough for him to hear. "Please step away and call an ambulance. You need to get your wounds attended too." The male immediately shook his head and spun to face her. "I'm not going to let you out of my sight! Because if I do..."

You might disappear.

He had this aching feeling that she was going to leave him if he so much as blinked. He could see it through the guilt in her eyes that she wanted to protect him and take all the blame for herself. Like hell I'll let her do that. We're in this together.

"Dammit Luciel, are you blind? She's killed hundreds! Are you so in love with her that you can't see the reality?" Zen demanded. Both of them froze, spines rigid. Saeyoung cursed Zen in very colorful ways, in many different languages, for exposing his secret. I didn't confess yet! This is literally the worst possible moment to do that! He thought frantically. The red haired male covered his face with the palm of his hand and stared at the ground.

He was nervous to see her reaction, but he was curious nonetheless. When he had finally gathered enough courage to look her in the eye, he couldn't help but feel his heart drop. Her expression was that of true fear. Her eyes were widened to the size of saucers and her mouth gaped open just barely. Does she not feel the same way?

He swatted the thought away and opened his mouth to speak, but she beat him to it. "Y-You love me?" she questioned as if she didn't want to believe it. Saeyoung's brows furrowed in confusion as he nodded slowly. "Am I not supposed to?" He asked in return, defiance in his eyes. Hyun-a shook her head vigorously. "No! You aren't supposed to! He is going to kill you!" She hissed.

"He's going to kill you and it'll all be my fault!"

Kekeke, it's coming!!!!
