I felt my eyes slowly open as I heard someone break off the car door. A wash of relief entered my body and took away some of my pain.

A cold breeze entered through the wrecked car and sent chills down my spine; goosebumps erupted to the surface of my skin. My eyes went blurry and I was trying with every bit of strength I had to remain conscious. No matter how tempting giving up was, I wasn't giving up that easily.

My eyes squinted when I saw a hand reach in and carefully drag me out of the demolished vehicle. I felt my eyes slowly close. I knew I was finally being rescued and was going to be okay - hopefully.

I was lifted into the comforting warmth of someone's arms, and took a small glimpse at my dismantled car. Glass was everywhere and there was a massive dint in the front. I shut my eyes trying to not think about how much money it was going to cost to get it repaired and how angry Aunt Katherine would be.

It then hit me a few moments later - something wasn't right since the person carrying me started to run. I opened my eyes and saw Derek.

Derek Hale had me in his arms and was racing me into the woods. I wanted to scream, I even tried kicking, but I was too weak and fragile, not to mention my body was slowly shutting down.

We were deep into the preserve now and that's when it hit me - he was going to murder me I actually couldn't care less. I was in extreme pain and wanted it all to stop.

His sprint came to a halt as he slowly lowered me to the ground, "W-what are y-you doing?" I weakly mumbled. "A-are you g-going to k-kill me?" I stuttered trying to use all the strength I had left inside of me to keep my eyelids open for a few more seconds.

He looked at me, laughed, before his eyes glowed a bright red. What the heck, his eyes changed colour right before me. He let out a horrifying growl and I quickly glanced at him, my heart raced as I saw his teeth now had fangs.

I had to be dreaming this, or hallucinating from how much agony my small body was in. "I'm not going to kill you..." He said loud enough so only I could hear.

I let out an agonising scream as extra pain was added to me. I lowered my head weakly and looked down at my stomach, big red teeth marks were on the right side of my stomach, blood slowly oozing out... He bit me?

My vision went spotty, my whole body froze. I was slowly slipping into an unconscious state; it couldn't handle the sudden extra pain and I didn't blame my body for letting go either. I was finally going to be at peace.

"I think she is waking up," A feminine voice stated. I tried to focus on my surroundings and heard footsteps and the presence of people around me.

My eyes fluttered open as I let my eyes adjust to the light shinning in through the massive window. I jumped back when I realised I wasn't in the hospital.

Before my eyes stood Isaac, Erica and that kid Boyd - which was confused me. Maybe he gained some new confidence as well.

I looked around and eventually my eyes saw Derek; arms folded across his chest examining the situation.

"Where am I!" I shouted and continued looking around at the loft I was in.

Isaac took a step forward towards me, "You almost died..."

I squinted my eyes, "Die, what do you mean?" I asked trying to recall the events of what happened. It was raining and I was outside the hospital after I found out... Lucy died... I got into my car and, a loud crash rang through my brain as I remembered the horrid car crash I got in. All I recalled next was being hefted out of my car by Derek.
