Looks like i will be spending Christmas  break baby-sitting. A family down the street needed someone to watch their two kids during Christmas break. I knew the two kids, sort of. Emily is nine and Justin is five. It would be from 8am- 4pm, four days a week. Plus the pay is great, six dollars an hour. My mom, who claims to never gossip, wasn't surprised when i told her how much they were going to pay me. She speculated that they were pretty wealthy. We werent wealthy, not really but we were far from poor. Im not sure what they did for a living, but rumor has it, they have a maid that comes a few times a week! Baby-sitting is not a favorite past-time but i knew the kids were fairly well-behaved. Plus, i would stay busy, which meant little time to think about Ed.
I was surprised when I got home from Christmas shopping (my phone was charging)that i had one missed call from Ed. I was trying not to be too anxious about it, but I was. My mom had dinner in the crockpot waiting, my favorite, chicken teriyaki. I knew she would be calling for me soon. My mom had to eat at six o'clock. Weird. I listened to my message while i changed into my favorite t-shirt (Harry Potter) and sweats. I knew it might be too late to call him back, British time was about six hours ahead of my time zone. I decided to text him. That way he could call me back if he wanted to. I wasn't expecting him to text back so soon. I told him he could call me at 7:00 if he wanted. I had no idea why he wanted to talk to me. I just prayed he wouldn't  talk about Annabelle.
