XXXIII. AUTUMN x WEATHER

WINTER's POV

What's a prince without a princess? What a king without a queen? What's an emperor without an empress? What's a mafia without a luna?  What's kuya Nathan without ate Ry? NO ONE. Yan ang nakikita namin ngayon sa taong nakaupo sa dulo ng mesa at nakatitig lamang sa kanyang pagkain. We saw how colours were slowly fading in his eyes but today... We saw complete darkness. He's totally lifeless. He's back to being the heartless Mafia Prince. We are seeing the kuya Nathan we knew before he met Ate Ry. We are seeing the old ruthless mafia leader. We are seeing someone who is very unfamiliar.Wanna know the reason why? Kani-kanina lang... We found out that... Ate Ry... Left. Walang nakakita at walang nakahalata. She disappeared in thin air.

The Mafia is facing a lot of chaos and right now, we needed our queen to comfort our king. Kuya Nathan can't seem to focus. Lalo na't nag'file ng annulment papers si ate Ry. He's lost and only ate Ry can find him and can bring him back to the mafia. Wala na nga si Autumn, pati si Ate Ry... Now, kuya Nathan is slowly slipling away. The GiANT4 tried consoling our leader but he turned deaf and mute. Masyado siyang naapektuhan sa nangyari. While, Kuya Renzo on the other hand is trying his best to be okay even though his actions speak grief. His actions speak vengeance.

Napatingin ako sa mga kasama ko and I saw Fall eating her food lusciously while Summer is glaring daggers at her. Weather is somewhat trying to compose herself but I know, deep inside her, she's broken. We all are. Ni wala ngang maririnig sa amin maliban sa tunog ng mga kubyertos. The Wolves were also trying not to show weakness but dolor is visible in their eyes.

Susubo na sana ulit ako ng paglain nung may nagtext sa akin which disrupted me from my thoughts. Tinignan ko naman kung sino ang nagtext at halos mabitawan ko ang cellphone ko. The message hit me like a bomb exploding as strong as a basuka. Ni hindi ko pa nababasa ang buong mensahe ngunit nanginig na ang mga kalamnan ko sa unang pangungusap palang...

Hello Black Sovereign, have you missed, Autumn Lancaster?

I, nervously, approach kuya Nathan whose mind is floating in horizon right now. Tinapik ko siya ng tinapik dahil parang hindi niya ako napansin. I eyed everyone and no one, yet, noticed my strange actions. Marahil ay lutang sila at busy saapagkain that's why I breathe in a good amount of air to calm my nerves. I need to tell this to kuya Nathan.

"Winter?" I was taken back from my thoughts when kuya Nathan called my attention. He was eyeing me like I am the weirdest person right now. But, I can't talk. I just showed him the messaged I received and it rendered him speechless. He grabbed the phone from me and read the message again. Maya maya pa ay tinawag niya na ang pansin ni kuya Renzo.

"Lorenzo" he said. Ngunit tila walang narinig si kuya Renzo dahil hindi man lang ito lumingon.

"Lorenzo" ulit ni kuya Nathan at nakuha na niya ang atensyon nito.

"Wh-what?" he asked.

"Wanna know where your girlfriend is?" kuya Nathan asked na nakapagpatayo kay kuya Renzo.

"What do you mean?" and this time, nakuha na namin ang atensyon ng lahat. Ibinato naman ni kuya Nathan kay kuya Renzo ang phone ko at binasa ni Kuya Renzo ang mensahe. Everyone is eyeing him for some reaction and orders. They are also eager to know where Autumn is.

"Rence"

"Sup bro?"

"Try to locate that number" sabi ni kuya Renzo at ibinato ang phone kay kuya Rence. Kuya Rence caught it at tinignan ang numero na pinagmulan ng mensahe.

"Renzo, this number is just a prepaid one. Hindi ko ito malolocate dahil siguradong---"

"I don't fvcking care Clarence! Just do your fvcking best to locate Autumn's whereabout! Or I'm gonna flip the world upside down just to look for her!" he said and it rendered us speechless. Kuya Rence nodded at agad agad na lumabas upang subukang i'trace ang location ng sender. Summer went with him dahil silang dalawa ang pinakamagagaling sa amin pagdating sa mga ganyan.
