Chris & Eva - Is it desire or is it love?

It was 6:30pm, Eva was laying on her bed once more, watching random YouTube videos - once more. If somebody was to ask her what she did in her free time she would probably have to make up some interesting information.

She was still convinced that going to the party by herself was not the greatest thing to do and Chris was more or less going to party with the boys but what else was there to do? Getting out of her room and having fun was better than staying at home, dying rather than living.

Her phone rang and she saw that Jonas had sent her a snapchat message. At first she was a bit surprised but she opened it anyway. When she saw the picture she couldn't help but laugh.

Jonas:

This was so typical for him, making a fool of himself to make others laugh. One of the reasons she had fallen in love with him back then, because he was a goof 24/7.

Eva: Hi, I'm good, lol. What about you?

Jonas: Me too. What's uppp?

Eva: I'm pretty bored over here. What are you doing?

Jonas:

Eva: Omg stop, you're so ugly haha.

Eva didn't want to admit it but she couldn't help but feeling kinda weird. The conversation felt forced, since she had not spoken to Jonas in such a long time and didn't know what to say.

Jonas: Then why did you date me?? *cries*
Besides, Isak said he'd fuck me first sooo.

Eva: What the hell, eww.

Jonas: Haha, so what are your plans for Saturday?
Do you want to hang out?

Eva: I might go to this Penetrator party.

That Chris was the one who had invited her in the first place was none of Jonas' business and would have made the whole situation more awkward.

Jonas: Are you going alone??

Eva: I asked the girls but they are all busy on Saturday.

Jonas: But you do know that it will be the 1st
party of the Penetrators in this school year?

Eva: Yeah, so?

Jonas: The first one is usually the worst one.
In the past years lots of those who were at the party
had to be rushed to the hospital because they
drank so much they passed out.

Eva: But isn't that normal for the Penetrators?

Jonas seemed to be genuinely worried about her which made her feel even more confused about how to behave towards him, since their relationship had ended on bad terms.

Jonas: Eva, they want to "welcome" their new members
so everything gets completely out of hand. They take hardcore drugs and shit. It won't be
safe for you there, all by yourself.

For a second she wanted to text him that Chris was going to be at the party but then she chose not to. However, Jonas had managed it to make her have doubts. Maybe it was really not a good idea?

Eva: I'm not sure...

Jonas: Okay, I'm coming with you.

Wait what? For a second she just stared at the screen of her phone. Jonas wanted to go with her to the party?

Eva: But you hate the Penetrators.

Jonas: True lol but you shouldn't be there alone.

Although he was acting all cute and caring, she was uncertain about his intentions. He hadn't made any effort to talk to her in the last months but suddenly he felt like he needed to protect her? But then again it would probably be better if she went with him, after all he was a very relaxed and calm person. Maybe that was going to help her stay focused and not get too drunk during the party.

Eva: Okay, I guess you can come.

Jonas: Great text me the address later.

Eva: Sure. But Jonas?

Jonas: Yup?

Eva: You know that this doesn't mean 
anything for us, don't you?

Jonas: Don't be silly, Eva haha. See you!

Alright. Now she had someone to come with her. But on the inside Eva doubted that she had made the right decision...
