Alexa's POV
I realized that Jess didn't know about my little crush on Cole and so I decided to tell her.
"That must hurt...I mean you have a crush on him but he's dating/fucking your friend." She frowns
"It does." I say
"I'm sure he likes you back because why would he kiss you back if he didn't?" She reasons
"Cause it was in the spur of the moment? Cause he's a player anyways?"
She chuckles and mumbles a good point.
"Anyways I-"
I was cut off by someone yelling my name. I look up confused but when I saw the person calling me I rolled my eyes.
When Cole and I came home from the cemetery, Chase informed me that he and I were partners for a project. He and I have grown a lot closer since then.
"Hello Alexandria Francesca" he smirks as he reaches my table
I groan and glare at Jess. She flinches and glares at Chase.
"Stop calling her that!! She keeps taking out her annoyance on me" she says
Chase laughs at that making us glare at him again. He looks at us and laughs again. We shake our head and wait till he finishes.
"Done?" Jess asks once he's calmed down
"Yup. I'm done." He chirps and grins happily
"What are you doing here Chase" I ask
"It's boring and disgusting with the others. Robin and Olivia are so sickly sweet and Ariana's boobs are spilling out of her almost non existent shirt. She's practically grinding on Cole's arm. I actually feel bad for Cole's arm;it's being raped." Chase groans
It was our turn to start laughing. Although I was laughing, a pang of jealousy hit me. Jess somehow knew this and glanced at me. I shook my head to tell her I was fine.
"So you thought we'd be more fun?" I ask him
"Yup!!" He exclaims
"Good choice" Jess winks at him
We all laugh again but we're shortly stopped this time. Someone cleared their throat and we turned to look at them. Stood in front of us were the same people Chase tried to escape.
Chase blinked once then twice. He groaned and proceeded to bang his head on the table repeatedly. Jess and I burst laughing. I had tears in my eyes and my stomach hurts so much. I couldn't stop laughing and neither could Jess. When we calmed down a little, we saw Chase glaring at us. This made us laugh even more.
When we finished laughing, the others have sat down and are looking at us weirdly. Chase looked really frustrated and upset.
"Oh Chase...this is golden." Jess says
"I'm glad you find this amusing." He glares at Jess and I
"What's so funny?" Robin asks
"Chase." Jess and I say in unison
"Why? And why'd you leave man?" Cole asks
"Dude. I'm gonna be completely honest. I wanted to get away from you guys. But then I'm assuming you missed by awesomeness, which is why you followed me here." Chase says
"What awesomeness?" Jess snorts
"Shut up." Chase glares at her
"Why'd you wana get away?" Olivia asks
Jess and I smirk at each other and we look at Chase with a knowing look.
"I'm an honest guy. I'm not gonna lie. You guys are boring." Chase admits
They all frown.
"Is that all Chase?" I ask innocently
"Yes." He grits his teeth
I grin wickedly and nod my head.
"If you say so..."I say
Chase laughs and shakes his head
"I hate you two" he says
"The more you hate the more you love." Jess winks at him
Chase rolls his eyes but has a smile on his face.
"Wait. What do you mean we're boring? We're way more fun than those two. We know how to have fun, they don't. They've never even been to a party." Ariana says.
Jess and I chuckle. We've been to way more parties than they know. We just don't go with them.
"Very funny Ariana. If you must know, these two are WAAAYYY more fun than you could ever be. It doesn't matter if they've been to a party or not. You don't have to be drunk to have fun and these two are great examples of that fact." Chase defends us
We smile thankfully at Chase. He grins back at us. Just then, the bell rings. The three of us get up and walk away from them. Chase is in the middle of Jess and I. He has his arms on both of our shoulder.
I could feel someone's stare burning through my back. A small part of me wanted it to be Cole staring at us in jealousy but I quickly brushed it off. It was probably just one of Chase's admirers.
