Why does the boy always save the girl?
Example: " Omg, my hero!" I grinned as Superboy put me down.
Why This Is Annoying: Where is the girl power? Wonder Woman? SUPERGIRL? Like really, we need more power within female characters. The cliche for them is smart and helpless. They can be smart but not over the top. Females can live without men. But books have told us otherwise.
How To Fix This: Okay, I'm not saying they should WIN the fight. They should at least TRY and not just be like "oh a boy is not here I'm just going to stand here and wait for him to come". You need to show the readers that we are not just objects that need saving 24/7.
