Example: I ain't your average person. I have magical powers. You see It was a normal day...Then Bam! got bitten by a spider.
Why This Is Le Annoying: Well. I think that story idea is already taken. Spider-Man is already a Comic Book Character. Keep trying. Don't. Give. Up. Also like at the beginning I said "I'm your average person" is also cliche. By Special I mean like they have superpowers. Which I got to say its really cool to see what authors come up with as a superpower but some just steal others ideas.
How To fix This: There is also "I used to be normal" hmm "Chosen One" And My personal favorite "I WAS BORN THIS WAY". You may think this is "original" but it is not. This is seen everywhere. Books, movies, Games, and even (get ready for the big surprise) TV Shows. So this Idea is already taken but you can try and make your own superpowers. Or just give up on the idea in particular.
