Why This Is Annoying: Yes I get it. Books are here to escape from reality. But where the "breaking the fourth wall"? I think it is quite entraining watching the author 'breaking the rules'.
How To Fix This: Break the rules of books. Step out of others boundaries. Take chances. If people don't like that then okay. Boo hoo. It's your book. Your decisions.
