Bear's POV
I awoke and stirred a bit. I turned my head and licked my shoulder. It was stitched up nicely and I saw a few of my few other gashes I had from the fight with the Collies were patched up as well.
"Baghera," I mumbled as I looked around. "Baghera are you awake?"
"I'm here Bear," rasped Baghera as she stretched a claw weakly through the small cages. "I'm alright."
"Good," I breathed as I hooked my own claws around hers. "I heard you had some heart problems."
She shrugged. "Then you know more than I do," she chuckled as her tail lashed gently. "However I am glad that your owners fixed me. To that I am immensely grateful."
"I'm sure that they know that but I will tell them that as soon as I see them." I lifted my head and inched myself forward. "Have you seen Finch or Reese?"
Baghera nodded. "They left a little bit ago. I think to rest. They should be back tomorrow." She curled back up and gingerly stretched out.
"Okay," I breathed as I wrapped my tail over my nose. I listened to my breath as I fell asleep.
