Previously

All of a sudden I feel really sick again as my stomach fills with pain.

I stumble back to the bathroom for the second time and rush to the toilet.

God I feel so horrible..

My body feels like it's going to break any second..

Once again Ash rubs my back and I throw up again.

This is so horrible...
I hate my life...

I lean back from the toilet seat and slump on the floor.

Why do I have to be so ill in the summer...

You're meant to have a break from colds and illnesses and just relax in this freaking season.
Not get damn viruses!

I just want to pass out right now.

"Serena."
I look up at Ash groggily and he picks me up.
"Just go to sleep ok, I'll keep you company and make sure you don't overheat ok." "Ok.."
I close my eyes and feel my head automatically rest against his chest.

Wow, he's surprisingly, masculine.
I never though Ash would be so buff, I wonder what he looks like without a shirt on..

I feel myself drifting off to sleep in his warm arms.

I wake up to the sound of someone else breathing.
I open my eyes to see Ash.

Wait!
Why is Ash here!

I sharply look around to see that Ash is sitting in MY BED holding ME in HIS ARMS.

What the heck is happening?!
Did I really just sleep in Ash's arms the whole night?!

I feel my face heat up.
I probably did.

I slowly pull myself off of him and stand up.

God I still feel like crap..

I touch my head to feel it burning just as much as it was yesterday.
Well at least I don't feel like I'm going to throw up now.

All of a sudden the phone rings.
I groggily walk over and answer it.

"Hello?" "Hello Serena, I was wondering if you could come to my office today, it's by the entrance of the camp." "Alright." "Thankyou, bye bye now." "Bye."

I place the phone down, walk into the bathroom and get changed.

I look into the mirror.

God I look horrible.
Guess I'll just have to hide my face with makeup.

I put a load on and walk out to see Ash.

"Hey Serena how are you today?" "I'm good."
Ash walks up to me and is about to touch my head but I stop him by putting my fedora on.

"Don't touch my face! You'll ruin my makeup!" "Oh, sorry Serena but I need to see if you still have a fever." "I don't ok, I'm fine. Now I have to go, I have a meeting with the professor and I have to go as soon as possible." "But it's only ten o clock." "I have to ok." "Ok Serena, do you want me to come with you." "No, I'm fine on my own." "Ok, if you say so."

I walk over to the door and open it.

God it's boiling out there.
Guess I still have to go.

As soon as I step outside I feel the heat instantly make me sweat.

God it's so much worse than I imagined.

I groggily walk to the professors office.
Ever step I take I just feel worse and worse and worse.
I feel like I'm going to collapse any second.

I strain my eyes through the sun and see the office.

Why does it look so far away..

I take a few more steps before I feel myself getting weaker and weaker.

What is happening to me?!
Is this really what viruses do to you?!

I struggle to keep my eyes open as I slowly and shakily walk to the office that seems miles away.
I don't think I can last much longer.
I should have asked Ash to come along with me.

I'm so stupid.

I take one more step before I feel my legs buckle underneath me and I fall to the ground.

I open my eyes to find everything blurry.

I hear noises but only faint ones.
It's like they're really far away.

I call out the only name I can think of.
"Ash.."
I feel my eyes focus as I see Ash in front of me.

"Oh my goodness you're awake Serena!"
He grabs my hand tightly.
"You worried me so much!"
I see tears on the brim of his eyes.

Is he really crying over silly old me?

"Ash, why are you crying?"
For some reason my voice comes out all raspy, like I haven't drank anything for days.
"I'm crying because I found you passed out on the floor outside professor oak's office! And you've been knocked out for six hours Serena!" "Oh.."
He runs cold water over the flannel again and places it back into my head.
"From now ok I am going with you where ever you go you got it?" "Ok Ash.." "Thankyou."

He wipes some sweat off my face and grabs a glass of water.
"Drink this ok." "Alright."

I guess Ash is now my personal guard.
