Hectic. That's what Lauren thought the situation turned into in 2 seconds. Gabriel had gone outside the church (due to the secret escape they had in one of the rooms that no one let Adam through) and was now being cornered by a herd of walkers at the front door. The pipes that surrounded the door helped tremendously, since that was why they couldn't get to him. But they would break through the barrier sooner or later.

Gabriel's cries for help echoed from outside the church, alarming the two teens. Carl had ran first, whereas Michonne was searching for a weapon to break the wooden barrier across the front door. Lauren was beginning to run to the door to also help before she felt somebody take ahold of her arm, pulling her back.

"Just leave him, we can't save him-"

Adam's voice was interrupted by Lauren's fist colliding with the side of his face. She had spun around and socked him in the jaw, making him fall against the pew, steadying himself again with his tied up hands.

"Touch me again and I'll slit your throat," Lauren hissed through gritted teeth, turning back to the front door to see Michonne breaking the barrier with an axe. Carl and Lauren stood side by side, guns raised towards the door that would soon be greeted by Gabriel and the walkers. Michonne had finally broken it and swung open the doors as Gabriel sprinted inside. Lauren's gun fired towards the skull's of the creatures while they stumbled inside. Michonne ordered them to get back, swinging her katana across the heads of two walkers.

Adam seemed a bit stunned from the punch still, but was still walking alongside them. It seemed that there were too many walkers for her to handle, they had to leave the church.

All five of them ran into the office where Judith was also held. They had to get through the exit which was under the floor. Gabriel was holding the door down, so he began ordering them to start crawling out.

"Wait, there's been an exit this whole time?" Adam asked, making a loud grunt escape Lauren's lips.

"Do you really think we'd let you leave?" Lauren replied while throwing her hands in the air. He took a moment to release his anger, before looking towards a table with a pistol on it. Before Lauren could do something about it, he grabbed it and raised it towards her head.

"Let me loose or I shoot you," Adam screamed. For a moment Lauren was frightened of what this boy could do, until Carl moved in front of her, pushing her behind him slightly.

"Not now Adam, we need to go!" Michonne shouted back. Adam turned his head towards Michonne, and that's when Lauren knew to take her chance. Flying her arm up, she aimed it towards the boy's head and shot clean through his skull. There was a moment of silence between the group, not processing what had just went down. Lauren replayed the situation over in her head. She knew it had to be done, he was a danger to their group.
