(Y/n) POV
I was humming my favorite song as I drove down the street, the events of the morning coming back repeatedly running in my thoughts. I let out a sigh and my phone beeped and Issei sent me a message
"This better be good" I said to myself as I went over to where he said for me to go. I got the the front of this ice cream place. I saw him sitting at a table with one of Sona's pawns, I think Saji was his name, and the two of them were whispering about something
"Issei, if you called me here just to waste my time just know I'm going to kill you" I said smacking the back of his head and sitting down. They told me about their plan, but Saji kept saying it was Issei's idea and not his, to help those two church girls find the Excaliburs and destroy them.
"So, what's your opinion?" Issei asked me and I took a deep breath
"That has to be the single dumbest idea I've ever heard" and he was about to say something but I stopped him
"But the entire world is built on bad ideas so fuck it, I'm in"
"Are you two insane?" Saji said getting up out of his chair making people look at him funny
"You do realize that both of our presidents will punish us for being involved with those holy swords, I mean you two have Rias, she's strict but reasonable and Sona's draconrian and loves punishing us" he whined and got up quickly "No way man sorry" he said trying to walk away only for him to be stopped by Koneko holding his shirt
"Big surprise I thought you would try to run away"
short time skip
"I wanna go home" Saji said trying to get away and Koneko just pulled him down
"So you wanna cooperate with the church?" Koneko asked Issei
"Makes sense those chicks said they'd rather destroy the swords than let the fallen angels use them didn't they?"
"Yeah, it seems like they'll stop at nothing to get them back in the church's hands" Koneko said while Saji kept crying and moaning
"Kiba wants to get his revenge by defeating Excalibur and the church wants the swords back no matter what it costs, the goals might be different but they have the same result. That's why it works, we just gotta get both to cooperate"
"I'm not sure they'll be as eager to do this as you are though"
"We should at least try especially if it means Kiba will be able to keep being a devil with the rest of us, I think we gotta do everything we can think of"
"But first we have to find those girls, somehow" Koneko said getting up
"I don't like keeping this secret from Rias or Akeno, but, we have to do something to help him" and with that we set off to find the girls.
"Oh, cool so I don't have to be here anymore do I? You got your rook and other pawn on board now so what do you need me for?" and I smacked him
"Quit your bitchin" I said and Issei answered him
"The more of us there are the more powerful we are, and besides what are the odds we find a bunch of weirdos wearing white robes"
"Found them" I said pointing the the two as they kept asking people for money while spewing crap about religion. I laughed to myself about that
"What's so funny?" Koneko asked me
"Nothing, it's just that I stole their wallet's when they weren't looking yesterday" I said holding up two pouches. I put them away and Issei went to go talk to them.
another short time skip ( if your wondering why I'm doing this it's because I'm watch the show as I write this to make it as accurate as possible)
"So deliciuos" Xenovia said as they both quickly ate plates of food. I sipped my drink as soon more and more plates became empty
"Watching this is a little to intense for me" Saji said as I lazily tapped my finger on the table waiting for them to finish
"Looks like they were really hungry" Issei said as more food was brought to the table
"Here's your hamburger steak" and they wolfed it down as quick as it came. What just happened?" Xenovia said taking a breath of air for once
"Even if this will build our faith the devil's saving us must mean the end of days"
"We've practically given ourselves to the devils how can we be forgiven" they both said hysterically
"That's my thanks for buying you food?" Issei shouted a little bit
"Get it together bro"
"Sorry, I couldn't help it but I'm smiling now see?" and Irina started to pray
"Lord please have mercy on these kind souls even if they are devils" and all four of us gripped our heads in pain
"Thanks but please don't do that" I growled out while I wanted to tear my own head off
"Oh sorry it's kind of a habit" and Xenovia put her drink down and glared at us
"Well, what's the deal, what did you want to talk to us about?"
"We want to help you destroy Excalibur"
"What?" and Issei explained his master plan
"I understand the situation, I don't mind leting you take care of one sword"
"Wait a minute Xenovia!" Irina protested while Saji kept bitching about why she couldn't just say no.
"You know who the other side has, Kokoabiel is dangerous, honestly, it will be impossible for us to recover all three swords on our own"
"Yeah I get that, but their like, devils" and they began talking about their chance on their own and I leaned back in my chair
"What's up with you?" Saji asked me
"Just thinking about how the next 24 hours are going to suck"
Another one
"I get it, but I'm so disappointed that someone who could wield an Excalibur would approve of their destruction" Kiba said after we found him by a fountain
"Speaking of disappointing, didn't you recently abandon your place in the house of Gremory? Since your a stray now we could execute you if you'd like" and Kiba and Xenovia drew their blades
"Your welcome to try if you'd like"
"Hold it guys" Issei said getting between them
"We're trying to cooperate her so simmer down, no fighting"
"You obviously resent what the holy sword project did" and for some reason my vision started to get blurry and I could hear voices echo in my head, I couldn't make out what they were saying
"You okay?" Issei said as the others started walking away
"Yeah, just peachy" I said and we all agreed to start hunting at midnight.
Time skip to later that night
Rias was at Sona's for the night so I had some time to myself 'Might as well get some shut eye before we go hunting' I thought laying on my bed and outside I saw Asia go by in a nurse costume 'Whatever' I thought laying down. I shut my eyes and a bunch of images flowed through my head. I could see a red ground with mountains, I could hear voices of people, the next image lasted longer than the others, it was a huge black form standing on it's black legs and it made a low growl and it then roared loudly blowing everything down. The huge creatures' eyes glowed bright red and the monster grew a large orb of black energy in it's mouth and blasted the ground annihilating the area around it.
