Thomas Imagine #6

You and your best friend Thomas run together since he didn't want you to run alone.

'Bad things could happen to you.'  He said. You were done convincing him, all he would say is no anyways. It was just like any other day and so far nothing had ever happened to you

"Y/N," Thomas said snapping you out of your thoughts

"Looks like your thinking about something, might want to share it." He said

"No."

"Ooh, looks like someone has a secret." You playfully punch his arm

"Come on the Doors are almost closing and we're still too far from it." He said. Thomas struggled to keep up with your pace

"What's the problem?" You look back at him

"Need...to...rest." Thomas bent over, his hands on his knees. Thomas was never like this before. He would even outrun you on most times. You wonder what happened to him

"Tired already?" You walked towards him

"Just give me a minute." You wandered around until Thomas was finished. He gave you a nod and started running

"Faster Thomas, we're not even half way there yet." You looked at your shoulder to see if Thomas is catching up and luckily he is

"Why do you have to be so slow sometimes?" He finally kept up his pace.

The both of you ran in silence hoping to make it before the walls close but with Thomas catching for breath every ten minutes or so you think that you wouldn't make it. At least it isn't your first time staying the night in the Maze

"Y/N hurry I can hear the Doors closing." Thomas shouted. You picked up your pace and waited for Thomas to get to the Doors before going inside the Glade. The Doors are almost closed when Thomas turned the corner. He picked up his pace and stopped in front of you

"Come on Thomas, we-" He kissed you and pulled away before the Doors close

"I love you Y/N." You were too surprised to say a word. Your senses came back together when Thomas pushed you towards the Glade

"No, Thomas what are you doing?" You shout

"I love you Y/N." You got into the Glade just in time as the walls closed. But Thomas didn't and you think you saw a Griever at the far end of the corridor but you hadn't had the chance to warn him. You didn't even had the chance to say that you love him back, to kiss him, to hug him

"No, no, Thomas why did you do that? We could've stayed there together." You pound on the Doors but there were no answers

"I love you too Thomas." You whisper, tears escaping your eyes. You sat down on the ground "That was just the beginning but you ended it quickly."
