Amy's pov

I walk over to where Mark is and I hear him talking to Sean.

I listen for a few minutes and then he says something that makes my heart skip a beat.

"Did he just say he was gonna propose to me tonight?" I think to myself.

"Mark?"

He turns around in his chair and a look of fear immediately consumes his face.

"Uummm, how much of that did you hear?" He asks as he stands up.

"Every," I take a step forward.

"Single," I take another step forward.

"Word," I take another step and close the gap between us, pressing my lips gently on his.

We stand there for a minute and then he pulls back and says,"I'm sorry. I was gonna take you out to a really nice restaurant, but..."

"No no, it's fine. You can still take me out." I say with a loving smile.

"Thanks."
