"What do you mean yoy never forgot? ??" Rukawa yelled in surprise.
Alina's eyes narrowed.
"Honestly Rukawa, if you were any dumber, you would bw going backwards." Alina sneered.
I stiffled a giggle as Rukawa looked surprised.
"You mean...You never lost your memories...but...Yamashita you knew this?" Rukawa turned to me.
"She told me, I was equally shocked." I replied.
"Why?" Rukawa asked as he controlled his temper.
"Because I am a danger magnet. If I had revealed everything that time, all of us would have been killed." Alina replied.
"But..." Rukawa was about to start when Akiho lifted her hand.
"There are a lot of people involved. Even in that hospital. The nurse who looked after me was also one of them." Akiho replied.
"What? When did you realise that?" Rukawa asked surprised.
"The moment I opened my eyes. My running into Ryu was a coincidence but not the hospital." Alina continued.
"What do you mean Alina? I took you randomly to that hospital." I interjected.
"Ryu...Wasnt that the nearest hospital?" She smiled sadly.

"Wait a minute...." Rukawa's face blanched.
"Yes. It was planned incase I escaped. I had regained consciousness within a few hours but the moment I saw her, I knew if I didnt act, I would be killed on the spot." Alina spoke gravely.
She figured that much in a split second. I could not help but feel proud about her.
"Then when I saw her with Ryu, I knew....She would kill him too so...I need to confound them and make sure you took the bait but they sent someone to attack me." Alina closed her eyes sighing.
"But you could have fought back. You fight well." Rukawa argued when Alina shool her head.
"I was weak from all the painkillers. Also...I was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia...No matter how dangerous the situation was, I could not fight back without them realizing." Alina replied.
It made sense. Now I understood better why she had lied about her memories.
"What about the car incident?" Rukawa asked.
"That was never targeting me. That was for Ryu." She replied looking grim.
"What?" I was shocked.
"They were planning to recruit you Ryu." Alina said as she chewed her lips.
"Why? I am not a christian...and I am a guy" I replied.
"Yeah I know. The reason they wanted you was because of the goodness of your heart." Alina replied softly.
"What... I am nothing like that." I scoffed.
Alina laughed while Rukawa looked confused.
"Ryu... You carried your mother's dream and became a star. You also help a lot of people. I saw you pay for that old lady in Yamaoka once." Alina replied kindly.
I blushed. She has seen me before.
"They wanted to sacrifice you." Rukawa muttered.
"No.... It was to torment me. Even if we did not know each other, I was....I was in love with you. " Alina smiled softly.
