Epilogue

Yamashita Ryu's POV

I woke up and was surprised Alina was not beside.

I got up and walked towards the nursery.

I saw Alina standing trying hard not to laugh as she looked into the nursery.

"Alina..."I called out when she motioned me to be quiet and guestered me to watch.

I looked inside and nearly chuckled.

Our 6 year old son, Ryohei was standing near the crib on a stool.

He was holding the hand of his 1 month old baby sister, Ai.

"So cute." I laughed.

We got married when Alina had enetered her 5rh month of pregnancy.
She restarted her practise and I continued with my career.

I anounced about our wedding, though initially everyone was shocked.

Now they are fine with it.

Our son was born 4 months later. As far as I knew, it was the most beautiful moment.

Alina stilled suffered from nightmares of that incident.

But we got over it together. Iwashi had been hanged to death.

Itsumi had been dead on the spot.

The cult had been disbanded.

Owing to the success of his case, Rukawa was promoted.

My mother was extremely pleased that Alina was pregnant.

I get along well with Alina's family. At least they stopped glaring at me.

6 years after, Alina was pregnant again. Ryohei had been hoping for a brother.

It was hilarious to see his face when he realized it was a girl.

Now I was watching her gently humming to her.

"You know he reminds me of the time you would come and watch over his crib." Alina giggled softly.

I smiled as I hugged her.

Ai started crying which caused Ryohei to panic.

"Okay Ryo! Its time for me to feed her." Alina spoke up as she lifted Ai who was wailing

"Mommy! Cant I feed her?" Ryohei asked making Alina blush.

"When she is more than 6 months old, when I start bottle feeding her." Alina replied quietly as she sat on the rocking chair and fed Ai.

"I'll put out oldesf trouble maker to bed." I said as I picked up Ryohei who sqeauled.

"By the way, what are you doing up Ryohei? You are supposed to be sleeping." Alina asked as she burped Ai.

"I was worried Ai would feel lonely when she got up." Ryohei whined making me feel proud.

He was a siscon.

"Ryohei... You are such a wonderful brother. " I smiled.

"She is a cute baby." Ryohei shrugged.

"She is isnt it? Any boy woud love to date her." Alina baited us.

Both Ryohei and I glared.

Alina laughed.

"Stop behaving like my Dad and my brother." Alina patted Ai's back as she feel asleep.

Ryohei grinned and I could not help but smile.

This would forever be engraved in our memories.

We will always remember.
