I think frank confirmed himself that he had lunch with Gerard and showed him a song before the album even came out. Now tell me if the "I've been waiting so long for you to meet me. Please don't turn back now(...) I think about this all the time, I couldn't miss you more than I do" Lyric doesn't raise some flags.
Just listen and read the lyrics to any and I mean any parachutes song (with the exception of 9-5-15) and you'll find that some of the lyrics have a hidden meaning and not just only parachutes Try stomachaches Try deathspells Try leathermouth Hell even try pencey prep
