If there was a god of awkwardness, he really is playing a good one on me right now because that's all there is in our atmosphere.

Taylor kept her eyes on me for a moment. I wondered if she realised that she's still clinging so close to me and all of our friends are looking at us. "Whoa." She breathed out and took her hands off my back, then sat a few inches away, biting her lip and not really looking at anything.

I saw the whole bunch of friends staring at us. They were already picture of wide eyes and dropped jaws. That was actually all I can see from them. It is either they cannot believe they just witnessed two kissing teens from their friends group. . . or the fact that it was me and Taylor.

All of them had the most surprised faces. I could already hear the cricket noises around us. I could not even decide whose reaction was the most priceless.

I looked at Taylor for one moment and she's tapping her foot to the ground, humming songs. She glanced at me for a second and I looked away.

I blinked a few couple of times, "Uh, tastes of cherry ChapStick."

Taylor hit me lightly on the back, "Seriously?! You're kidding me, right?"

"Well, I admit that was lame." I said because it really was lame. In the awkwardness, all I could think of was the lyrics from Katy Perry's song. "But you got a better thing to say? Say it."

"Was that your first kiss since--" she trailed on, through a dialog of Black Widow when she kissed Captain America.

"No, don't even say it." I snapped up and she laughed a little. I would have appreciated it if we were somewhere private when we kissed but I did kiss her so I knew the aftermaths and I have to deal.

"That was my first kiss this year." She said calmly and I did not need to hear that. Although there was this little part of me that was smiling.

"Well, you too but--"

"Unbelievable." Kendall muttered, rolling her eyes. "Taylor, seriously?" She had the most puzzled expression on her face. . . the looks that kind of says Taylor just murdered someone so probably, Taylor doesn't do this often.

Taylor licked her lips and ran her fingers through her hair, "Uh, um, would be better if no one talks about it." Well, she did not sound shy about it but the way she spoke up meant she doesn't do this usually.

"Sure." Niall said.

"Yep." Berlyn agreed.

"Yeah, sure whatever." Jhanelle muttered.

"Yes, okay." Marshal said.

But during the ride towards their houses. . .

"This is quite awkward." I commented as the ride was quiet and I know that they are all thinking of the same thing. When it's not quiet, all they do is ask us questions if we were together, in a relationship, why we did it and the process repeats itself.

"Why wouldn't it be? We just saw the Winter Soldier and Black Widow making out." Niall replied and he kept on bringing it up. That's what's been breaking the silence.

"It sounds too awful when you say it that way." Taylor said from behind the car.

"What the hell are we supposed to say then?" Jhanelle asked and then she started singing. "Taylor and Harry sitting on a tree,"

And the rest of them goes, "K-I-S-S-I-N-G."

I facepalmed and groaned out loud. "Mother of God!"

"Ugh, Harry, this is your fault!" Taylor yelled. It is one of the very first times I heard her raise her voice around them.

"I'm sorry, I didn't plan on a long kiss!" I yelled back. "Between you and I, who prolonged it?" It was her, I only really planned on a short kiss.
