I felt like a child, getting very excited while we were on a ride to the amusement park! The last time I felt this excited was when I was fifteen and we were going to an actual amusement park. This time, it's different.

As it turned out, mum and Gemma had been planning this for a while now. Here we are on a plane riding back to Canada and I was told there were only a dozen minutes left before landing.

I am excited! Because we might just be in time for my friends' graduation. I might not be able to come up on stage with them but at least I got to be there for them.

Other people would want a car for their graduation gift, but nope, I'm happy with a trip to Canada. . . I'm actually more fortunate than they are.

As condition, mum and Gemma came here with me since they'd been bugging me to meet my friends. . . and Taylor.

Here I am just wishing that they won't get awkward. Because being around Taylor with the whole gang was one thing, but actually having my mum and Gems?! That is one hell of a disaster for me.

Gemma signed in for a hotel a bit too far from our dorm so I couldn't exactly visit Niall easily. We unpacked for a moment and then they were already sprawled all over the bed whereas I was up and running.

"Aw come on, Gems, that's not fair! We're gonna miss their graduation!" I said, trying to get her to stand up by guilt tripping her.

"How come you sound more excited with their graduation than you did at yours?" Gemma raised an eyebrow as she sat on her bed whereas mum was still unpacking even though we're only going to stay here for one night.

"Mum please, don't unpack too much, we're staying for a night," I reminded and turned my head to Gemma.

"Oh, you don't know that!" Mum retorted so I rolled my eyes and trued to focus on just Gemma.

"Come on Gems, I need you to get up. You can get jet lagged when we get back home. Come on, the event should be starting by now!" I ushered yet my lazy sister is still lying on the bed.

"I'm on a mission of mercy here!" I almost yelled as we didn't come here for her to lie around. "Alright, fine, I'm going on my own, good luck finding me."

Gemma groaned and stood up, "Alright, alright!"

I smirked and then crossed my arms. "I thought you were excited in meeting my friends here?"

She rolled her eyes, "Of course I am but, well, you know, we can't really just steal the scene."

"They already think I proposed to Taylor during her birthday party, how much more could I actually steal the scene?!" I exclaimed and the two of them snapped their heads in attention to me. I shut my eyes tightly the moment I remembered, "Oh goodness, I haven't said that before, haven't I?"

I ran my palms through my face.

"Did you propose?" Mum asked.

"What?" My eyes widened. "No! Not in that party, no!"

Gemma laughed out loud, "Alright fine, we'll come with you."

It took them ages! It took them an awful long while! Honestly, I've been through too many apps and had to resist texting my friends too much as they really had to put make-ups and change into some fancy dresses whereas I was still stuck in my same old style of black leather jacket and light coloured shirt inside.

I looked at myself in my cellphone's front camera and phew, I realised I haven't been following the haircut rules in a while so it had definitely been longer and curlier, down to halfway my ears.
