"So," Niall trailed as he took the red band and asked Aerielle to help with tying it around his arm, "Who gets what team?" He asked.

I was smirking the entire time as I listened to their teams.

"West," Kendall answered. I figured she was looking at Taylor who was still trailing her fingers against the bands.

"North," Marshal said.

"West," Berlyn said.

"East," said Jhanelle.

"I'm North too," Aerielle said. "Again."

And then all faced Taylor since she liked being a mystery too much.

She smiled and took the blue band, signalising she's team South.

"Okay, Harry, what'd you get?" Niall asked.

I walked towards the table wherein the bands are slightly scattered. I took the blue band and extended my hand to Taylor, "Love, would you please tie it?"

The rest of our gang groaned.

"No freaking way!" Jhanelle yelled.

"Fuck man, this is the third time you two are on the same team!" Neo complained.

I laughed, "Sorry mate, looks like you won't last ten minutes."

Taylor started tying the band very slowly. "Looks like it's you and I again."

"Yeah, I'd rather," I said. "The last time you and I weren't in the same team, you broke your arm."

"Hand," she corrected and then she tied the last knot. "Hear the groans of exasperation?"

"I'm not planning for a serious game. Are you?" I asked as I looked around our gang.

She smiled, "Definitely not."

"Alright, then."

When the games started up, Taylor and I did not take it seriously. We simply hid somewhere in a thick clump of bush near the West and hope for the best.

I kept my head tucked right on my knees, keeping my head low so it won't get caught up with the bush's twigs and won't be obvious of movement whereas Taylor was comfortably sitting in front of me with her back against a tree trunk. We took our earpieces out for a moment so that our team general won't hear our conversation.

"What made you leave?" I asked.

"What?" She asked in a quiet voice.

"The leagues. What happened?" I asked, remembering the fact that she never actually explained in detail.

"Over a year ago," Taylor started. "I was with Cara, Kendall wasn't that close with her and Cara was more of a thrill-seeker so she was the one I was with."

She licked her lips and took a deep breath. "We messed with one of the construction sites, my idea." She raised her hand at the last part, partly smiling.

"It was fun, rollerblading all around on sixty-storey building under construction and we were racing right to the top. How? The elevators, the slopes, even messed with the pulleys and that's where the trouble started."

"Paint splashing, cement spilling, dust flying and us being the messy teenagers we are, didn't care," she continued, staring off with those reminiscing eyes while I listen intently.

"I made a wrong move." She groaned quietly, looking down. "I uh, I put on too much speed, slid down and straight to the pulleys, of a building, luckily there was a girder but uh imagine being a hundred feet from the ground with nothing to catch you. I hung there for a moment."
