Rey waited at the back of the coffee shop near where she lived for her father playing with hair band on the wrist just as he sat down opposite her cold face as she looked at her smiling widely at him.
"Aren't you happy to see me?" Rey asked before pointing at the pot of tea and the two cups "I got us tea."
"I'm not planning on staying long." Her father began "I've got plans with Violet."
"Oh..." The girl said sadly and her father sighed loudly.
He watched as she awkwardly smiled pouring herself a cup of tea trying not to look at him just as he stopped her pouring it for her.
"Why do you push me away?" Rey question once he finished.
"I don't, you just never contact me." He replied and she laughed.
"No you always cared more about Violet Dad, don't confuse ignoring calls with neglect." Rey told him before getting up holding her bag.
Rey watched as he didn't say anything yet rolled his eyes shaking his head and she just shrugged walking out with a satisfied smile.
"Taxi!" She called suddenly remembering she had to pick up Joy from Hollands.
