Rey stared at Joseph through the fire before getting up and walking over to him placing her hand on her arm.
"Klaus." She whispered causing him to look at her.
"There will be a way and everyone will be together again." Rey told Joseph.
Joseph nodded taking her hand from his arm and pulling her into a hug kissing her as he did.
"Ophelia I..." Joseph began after they had pulled away from the kiss "thank you for sticking with me for so long."
"It's what you do when you love someone." Rey said to him looking into his eyes "you stay with them through the good and bad, I learnt that with the Mikaelsons there's always going to be a lot of good and bad times."
"That's why I love you." Joseph told her staring into her eyes while cupping her face in his hand "I have always loved you Ophelia Hearst and I always will."
