3rd POV
*beep beep* *beep beep*
Lying on her bed, Kanon turned her body left. With her eyes still closed, her hands wandered around the table to turn off the deafening alarm. She finally found it and switched it off but it was too late, she was already awake. She gave an annoyed grunt while trying to lift herself off the bed to get to her desk. She ran through her hair with one hand while grabbing her phone with the other.
5:50am, she read.
"It's too damn early..." she whispered out loud.
Slowly, but surely, she started getting ready for the day.
Kanon's POV
I was ready to go wake up nii-san before I went to work. Mind you I was still sleepy. I was just around the corner when I heard Ko-kun, Aoi and Haru-nii. They seemed to be standing outside nii-san's room. I had, more or less, an idea what they might be doing.
They soon realised I was there and greeted me.
"Ohayou, Kanon," Haru-nii said, smiling.
"Ohayou gozaimasu, Kanon-san!" Ko-kun said.
"Ohayou, Kanon," Aoi said, giving a closed eye smile.
"Ohayou, Haru-nii, Aoi, Ko-kun," I said softly. "What are you guys doing so early in the morning?"
"We're doing a candid wake-up call," Aoi told me.
"And Hajime-san is our next target!" Ko-kun whisper-shouted.
"Don't do it," I said.
"What?" Aoi and Ko-kun said at the same time.
"Don't do it," I repeated.
"Why not?" Ko-kun asked seriously.
Haru-nii and I shared a look.
"Trust me. You shouldn't do this/You don't want to do this," Haru-nii and I said simultaneously.
"Then what about the show?" Ko-kun asked.
"Koi, you really aren't scared of anything, are you?" Haru-nii asked rhetorically, slightly amused at him.
Aoi laughed nervously and told Ko-kun, "I'll pass on this one..."
Ko-kun looked confused. "What? Why?"
"I mean..." Aoi turned to us. "Right? Kanon? Haru-san?"
Haru-nii said 'yes' while I nodded.
"I understand. I will go by myself," he said to us, determined. "I will carry out the mission even if I have to go alone!"
He opened the door and walked in.
It was quiet for a moment.
It's only a matter of time, I thought as Haru-nii glanced at his watch and said, "It's about time I think."
There were noises coming from nii-san's room and Ko-kun came running out soon after. Although he was running full speed away, I was able to see a faint blush. I inwardly chuckled.
Haru-nii gave a resigned face. "That's why we warned you..."
"Yeah..."
I watched Ko-kun disappear around the corner before I spoke up.
"Since nii-san is probably up now, I should be going soon."
Haru-nii and Aoi looked surprised.
"This early?" Haru-nii asked.
"Yup!" I nodded. "Thanks to you two, including Ko-kun even though he's not here, I feel awake enough to not trip and fall. Thanks!"
"You want me to walk you downstairs?" Haru-nii asked me.
"Nah, it's ok. By the way, I'll be back a bit later today. Probably late evening or early night."
"Ok. See you later then. I'm going to get some breakfast then," Haru-nii said.
"See you!" we both said.
It was getting awkward just standing around alone with Aoi.
"Ah-/Uhm-" Aoi and I started at the same time.
"You first," we both said at the same time again.
"You can go first," he said to me.
"No, you go first," I stated, leaving no room for arguments.
"Oh, uhm... aren't you going to get breakfast?" he asked me nervously, scratching his face with his finger.
"Oh, I'm getting breakfast on the way. So I'll, uh, see you later?" I said, feeling very awkward.
"I'll see you when you come back then."
He smiled at me and I felt my face heat up even more than before. I smiled back at him and this time he started blushing.
"See you later!" I walked away from him and into the elevators. Once I got in, I took a deep breath and held my face in my hands.
Urgh...

Ok. I know what you're thinking. "WTF!!! I WAITED A MONTH AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!?!?!?!?!"
Well, sorry, not sorry. FYI, I am a human living modern society with lots of homework and assignments. Also, I get bored and unmotivated easily.
On the other hand... this is my last week of school for this term so I'll be able to update more!!! YAY!!! ^_^
So yea... that's it for today.
