Opening my closet, I looked through my stuff. Geez. The sixties. I think I still have something of that odd time period. Though I do love the twenties more. I always did. "Found it." Figured that I still had this thing. I took a quick shower and slipped into the white short dress, with very large sleeves and it's a bit shoulder showing which I love. It was not plain white though. It had little coloured pattern on it. And no, there ain't no flowers. I paired the dress with white overknee heels.  "I look hot." I complimented myself while looking in the mirror. Well, ready to go. Speeding downstairs I spotted my brothers and Ric/Klaus, as always pouring themselves a drink. "Well, well. Dressing up for your future boyfriend we are about to kill?" Damon smirked at me. "Ew. Shut up. I don't need to dress up to look fabulous thank you very much." I smirked back. "Bitchy much." "For you always, D." Stefan laughed. "Stefan Salvatore. Did I just hear you laugh? I'm shocked." I asked fake shocking. "You look stunning, Lucy." He commented. "Aww, look my brother is showing me how much he loves me. Don't do that in front of Elena. Might think you're actually in love with your sister." I mocked him. Ew, just the thought of him liking me in this way. Just ew. "Hey, Ric. How ya doin'?" I fake smiled at him. "I'm good. How are you, Lucy?" "Good. Now that you are here you know." I teased. "Bloody hell. Would you stop flirting with Ric?!" Damon groaned annoyed. Oh how I loved annoying him. I smirked. "Sorry D, but he's just so damn hot." "Ugh, just kill me already." he muttered. "Gladly." I grinned. Looking over to Klaus/Ric, who had one big ass smirk on his lips. I stuck out my tounge at him.  I'm childish, I know. Don't judge. "So, we're going or what?" I asked bored. "Let's go. The others are waiting." Stefan said. Arriving at the Mystic High, Bonnie and Elena spotted and greeted us."You guys ready to do this?" Stefan asked as we entered the hall. "Thanks for being here, everybody. We have a special shout-out tonight This is for Elena and Lucy. From Klaus." Then a song started to play. "Who was that?" I asked. "Dana. She is the girl who has been compelled." Elena enlightened me.  "That was a lame, cheap shot. He's just trying to bait us." Damon spoke up. "I know everyone here." Elena stated.  "Maybe he's not here. Just wants us to believe that he is." Stefan said out loud.  "It's a party, people. Blend. Let him come to us." Damon pointed out went well dancing. I was looking around the hall, not exactly knowing what I was looking for. A part of me kind of wished Klaus would be here. I mean the real Klaus. Ugh, time to shut up, Lucy.
Still looking around, I spotted Damon and Elena dancing.
"How you doing?" He asked her smirking. "Um, freaking out a bit. You?" She replied looking for Klaus. "Cool as a cucumber. Come on, remember the last decade dance? The vampires were all, ahh! and you were all, aahh!" He reminded her. "Right. And you won." "Yes! We did." He smirked proud of himself. He made some moves with her which she obviously liked. "You're good at this." She kind of complimented him. "I've got moves you've never seen." At that she had to laugh. Aww how cute. Right?
I felt a smile appearing on my lips, seeing them together. They'd make a great couple.
My smile disappeared when Stefan texted us all to come outside. I knew something would go wrong. "What's going on?" I asked. "If Bonnie takes on Klaus, channeling all that energy is going to kill her." Jeremy spoke up. "What?" Stefan asked worried. I already knew that but..
"But she didn't want Elena to know, 'cause if Elena knew,  she knew she would gonna try to stop her. And it's Elena that would turn up dead, so.." "How could you not tell me?" Elena exclaimed angry at her best friend. "Because I knew how'd you react." Bonnie shrugged. "No. No way, it's not an option."  "It's our only option, Elena." Bonnie reasoned with her. "Then we'll find another way, ok? Bonnie, you're not dying to save my life." "I have the power to save you! If I don't use it and something happens, that would kill me more." "I can't let you." Elena started to cry. "Just answer one question, if the situation was reversed, would you do it for me?" She didn't answer.  "So you know I have to." Bonnie said sternly.  "No. No!" "Elena!" Klaus/Ric exlaimed.  "What is it?"  "He has Jeremy." "What?" Elena and Bonnie asked at the same time. Really Klaus? You had to drag little Gilbert into this?! "Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy. Come on." He demanded as they followed him in the school well, with me of course. "Ok, so where are you taking us?" Elena asked him.  "Just a little further." Ric/Klaus replied. "What? Something's not right." "Where's Jeremy?" Bonnie asked sternly. Klaus just laughed at them.  "I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade.  I mean, whose call was that, anyway? I much prefer the twenties. The style, the parties, the jazz." He smirked. "Alaric. Are you on vervain?" Geez Elena, I thought you'd be a little smarter than that. "He's being compelled." Elena said  sure of what she just had confessed.  "Nope. Try again." He said still smirking. "What is going on?!" Elena asked once again. "Geez Elena! It's Klaus not Ric!" I pointed out. "Surprise!" Klaus smirked. He and his damn smirk.  "Oh, no. No, it's not possible." Elena freaked. "Just relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my hit list tonight." "But you are." Klaus continued looking over to Bonnie. She threw him against the wall with her powers but he quickly got up. "Now, did I mention that I knew a witch? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that." He stated as  he rushed over to her.  She threw him against a display case. He just  laughed. "By all means. Fire away!" He spoke as he got up, again.  "If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy." He smirked. "Nah, I don't believe you'd want to possess little Gilbert." I shrugged. "Go. Run. Run!" Bonnie yelled, trying to get Elena and me to run  but neither of us moved.   Bonnie closed the doors with her powers, so Klaus was trapped in the cafeteria. Moments later Damon joined the little party.  "What happened?" He asked.  "Klaus is in Alaric's body." Elena explained him with teary eyes. "What?" He exclaimed, clearly not expecting this.  "He's possessing him or something." He looked over to Elena. "Go find Stefan. Now." Elena nodded and left, looking for Stefan. "Can you kill him?" Damon asked Bonnie almost a hint of worry in his voice.  "He's got some kind of protection spell." "You have the power of a hundred witches. Break it!" He hissed demanding.  "I'm trying! If I kill Alaric, he'll just possess someone else. He knows I have my power, Damon. He's trying to kill me." Bonnie explained to him. "No. Klaus does not get to win tonight, no way. You still willing to do whatever it takes to kill him?" She nodded. Great. She entered the cafeteria. Klaus sitting on a chair, a knife on his hand. "What took you so long? Now, do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?" He smirked at her.  She easily  broke his wrist with her powers. "The hard way. Got it."  He got up ready to attack her but she broke his shoulder, with her powers. Again. Go Bonnie! Klaus groaned in pain.  "What? You'd kill your favorite history teacher?" "It's what Alaric would want. And he'd want you to suffer first." She said confident as her nose started bleeding. "Bonnie! Stop! Your nose is bleeding!" I yelled worried. Elena couldn't loose her best friend. Although I know she would survive but I gotta play along.  "Look at you." He smirked knowing she wouldn't get out alive. "Is that all you got?" Klaus provocated her.  "Let's find out."  In this exact moment Stefan and Elena were running towards us.  "There you are." I spoke up.  "What are you doing? Where's Bon--" Elena cut herself off when she saw her best friend fighting.  "She's doing what she has to do." Damon replied cold. "What?" Elena asked horrofied, not wanting to believe what is happening.  "What do you mean?! Damn it, Damon. She'll die!" Stefan exclaimed. "Stefan, let her do this." "Damn it, Damon!"  "Enough!" I yelled and everyone stopped talking. "I know this is hard for you Elena but she is saving your ass. So stop crying!" I glared at her. "She is saving you too! How could let her do this?! You're a vampire you lived long enough! She's just 17!" She cried. "I'm letting her doing what she has to do!" I shot back annoyed. God. She was so annoying right now. "You're so selfish. Like Damon." She spat. "If that makes you sleep better sure. But remember she was the one who saved your dumb ass life. So get over it!" I yelled at her trying to remain calm.  Suddenly the door closed again and all we could see was Bonnie fighting Klaus. Elena screamed. Stefan tried to open the doors but he couldn't. Bonnie looked at Elena with a smile and then she fell on the floor. Everything stopped. Elena and Stefan opened the doors and rushed over to Bonnie. "No! No!  Bonnie! Bonnie, Bonnie!" Elena yelled, crying out as she took Bonnie in her arms. Stefan looked around  for Klaus but he was gone. "Stefan, Lucy, she's not breathing!" She cried. "Stefan!  I can't find her pulse! Stefan! Do something, please! Stefan, please! Just give her blood, do something, please!" She cried again. I'm sorry Elena but it had to be done. "It's too late. I'm sorry."  Stefan told her with a pained look on his face. He hated seeing his girl cry. "No! No. No, no, no, no, no! Bonnie!"  Damon joined us. "Stefan, get Elena out of here. I'll deal with this. Lucy will help me." He demanded.  "What do you mean, deal with this?" Elena shouted.  "The sheriff can't know about this. Last thing we need's another mysterious death." He explained. "This is Bonnie!" Elena yelled angry.  "Get her home. Now." I told Stefan. He took Elena and left.
"Ready?" My older brother asked me. I nodded. We took Bonnie's body and put her in the trunk.  "Poor Elena." I muttered to myself. But now, we'll take her home. Driving with Damon towards the boarding house we arrived after like 20 minutes of speed driving.
Entering and shutting the door, we walked to the living room. "This is my fault." Elena cried.  "No, no, no, no, no. No. Hey. This was Klaus. Listen to me. Klaus did this." He assured her. "He's right, Elena." I told her.  "What did you two do with her?!" She exclaimed crying.  "Will you please calm her down?" Damon asked already annoyed. "Don't talk like I'm not standing right in front of you." I rolled my eyes. "Please calm down." I piped out. "You knew! Didn't you? You knew that if she harnessed all that power, that she would die, didn't you?" Damon was about to answer but I was faster. "Yes. Yes, we knew, Elena." As soon as those words left my mouth, her hand found my cheeck. Ouch. "I'll say this once, Elena. If you ever try again to slap me, I'll rip you apart. Love of my brothers lifes or not. I'll kill you. Got it?" I threatend dangerously. Now she looked terrified. Good.  "You need to listen to me, and prepare for what I'm about to say." Damon started.
"Bonnie had to die. Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise. She wasn't prepared for that. And he wasn't going to stop, and we weren't going to be able to stop him until he knew she was dead. He had to believe it." He continued explaining to her. "So, Bonnie's alive?!"  Duh. Obviously? I rolled my eyes.  "She casted a spell. She's alive, Elena. Bonnie's okay."  He started going upstairs, me following. Stefan followed us too. He spoke up. "You know, you could have told me." "How do we know when you're going to go blabbing things to your girlfriend?" I stated.  "You even understand what you put her through?" He glared at us.  "See, that's why we didn't tell you. 'Cause you would have never been able to do it. Don't get me wrong, Stefan. We don't mind being the bad guys. We'll make all the life and death decisions while you're busy worrying about collateral damage. We'll even let her hate us for it. But at the end of the day, we'll be the ones to keep her alive." Damon replied glaring at his little brother. "Well, whatever. I'm going to sleep now." I said walking towards my room. I shutted the door behind me as my phone started to buzz.  Groaning I looked at the caller ID. "Lydia?" I asked confused as I picked up. "We gotta meet. As soon as possible." She replied sternly. I frowned. "What happened? Where are you?" I asked worrying. What's going on?  "Can we meet tomorrow at my place?" "Yeah, sure. See ya tomorrow." With that, the line went dead. What's going on? Is she alright? I'm worried. I have a feeling, it was nothing good.
