Chapter 3

Vanessa's P.O.V.

I woke up staring at the ceiling in a hospital bed. I heard footsteps coming in through the door I looked at the door to see Jesse and some of the other unknown lifeguards walking in. It was getting cramped in here.

"Hey guys." I smiled widely

"We just wanted to drop by and see how ya feeling" Deano said with a big smile on his face.

"I'm doing good." I smiled weakly. "Can you tell me the other lifeguards names because I want to try to remember all there names when I come back to the beach." I smiled, "Because I might have a treat for y'all."

"Well this is Jesse, Maxi, Mouse, Whippet, Kerrbox, Harries, Matt Dee and Reidy. All the others are at home." Deano said while pointing at each one of them.

"Hey" I mumbled Shyly. They gave me a teddy bear that said 'get well' on it.

"Aww Thanks guys!" I blushed

We talked and laughed they all left one by one it was just Jesse and I left.

"Hey..Um I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow at 5:30 PM I'm done work then? If you're being let out of the hospital." Jesse ask nervously scratching the back of his neck

"Sure! Why not" I smiled while blushing

The next morning I woke up and the nurse brought breakfast for me. I was going to leave the hospital today. finally! I felt like an eternity but it was only one day. I was going to hang out with Jesse today!

The doctor walked in with a paper in hand. "All right. You can't get your arm wet and I'll give you the date of when you can take the stitches out." He said well getting the paper for me. Wow it wasn't long before I could get my stitches out only one week?!

"You don't have a fractured spine so that's good and you have an mild concussion." The Doctor looked at me. "So go easy on yourself okay." He said chuckling.

"I will." I said while laughing

"Well your all ready to go now" The doctor said smiling and giving me my things.

"Thanks!" I said excited I dashed out the door and got a taxi to go to the nearest LCBO and get a wine for the boys and then went straight to Bondi Beach to drop the wine off and get my stuff.

When I got there I walked up to the tower and knock on the open door.

"Hey guys" I smiled seeing Matt Dee and Harries they both turn to me.

"Hey how ya feeling?" Matt asked with a big smile.

"Fantastic actually! All IV bagged, blood bagged and ready to go!"

He chuckled, "Thats great sweetie." Matt got up and gave me a big bear hug.

"You guys save my life. I wouldn't have ever walked this earth again if it wasn't for you guys." I said smiling "So I got you this.." I held out the red wine that I hid behind my back and gave it to them.

"Oh yeah!" Harries said holding the bottle of red liquid. "Thanks that was so kind of you."

"Yeah no problem. You guys deserve it for what you all do around here." I heard someone come in it was Jesse

"Oh hi Jesse" I blushed

"Hey when did you get here?" Jesse asked his cheeks turning a bright red.

"How ya feeling? How's your arm and neck?" Jesse asked

"My neck isn't fractured so that's good and my arm still hurts a little." I said They looked that my arm

"Ouch! Did I hurt when you got the stitches" Harries asked when he looked at it.

"No not really." I said looking at the stitches

"Wow really? Your some tough cookie." Harries said still looking at it still.

"Well I better go I have to get ready for someone." I winked at Jesse and he blushed then looked away.

Jesse's P.O.V.

"Hey Jess do you have a date with Vanessa?" Maxi walk in and he must have heard everything and saw me blush.

"No! We're just hanging out!" I gushed

"Ohhh 'just hanging out.' Maxi said laughing I rolled my eyes. I sat down on a chair next to Harries and looked through the binoculars.

Vanessa P.O.V

I got ready and I put on a short black skirt and a hot purple coloured T-shirt on. I sprayed some perfume on, and curled my hair. I was going to meet Jesse at the café by Bondi. I got my keys and put on my black hi-heels on and dashed through the door. Shutting the door behind me. I got to my car and drove off.
