"Vanessa, Vanessa!"

"Huh what." Chapo snapped me out of my thoughts.

"You okay?"

I smiled covering my sadness, "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Chapo furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me.

"I..I just wish I never said that Jesse and I should take a break..." I look out to the water and I sighed sadly.

"Oh Vanessa don't beat yourself up with that kind of stuff.. the only thing you can do is work on the future not the past."

I sighed looking down as I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, "I guess.."

"Besides, it's not like you kissed Harrison, you only hugged him so Jesse will advencully forgive you."

My heart stopped and my eyes grew wide. "Uh I forgot to tell you.."

He looked at my expression and his eyes too widened, "What? You didn't."

"Well I'll tell you what happened.."

"He saved my life, he was my hero. And our faces were so close, and he was even more sexy right about then so I couldn't help myself..."

"And you kissed him." Chapo said with his eyebrows raised.

"Yeah, well we both kiss I wasn't just me, but what's worse is that I didn't pull away.. I pulled him closer by the back of his head and kissed him more passionately... then I pulled away..." I looked down at my hands that were in my lap.

I heard the walkie crackle, "Bondi to Central.. mate, someone needs to go to south end we got a person that's in distress in the back of backpackers rip. Can someone get out there." I heard Harrison's voice through the walkie.

"Copy that Harris." I said back, I quickly took off my lifeguard shirt, grabbed the board that the buggy was holding, ran to the water, jumped on my board, and started paddling.

When I got there I leaned back to stop. The Japanese women grabbed my board, I patted on the board, "Get on with your belly facing down and face away from me." I told the woman. She nodded and did what was told. When she was on the board I started to paddle back to shore. While I was on my way back I heard some call for help. I snapped my head around to see where it was coming from, I spotted a Japanese man in the same rip, "That's my husband!" The lady shouted in a Japanese accent

"Hold on!" I yelled to the man. I spun around and I paddled faster then I ever towards the man.

When I got to the man his arm was only above water, I grabbed his hand and pulled him on my board.

He was freaking out,"Anata no daijōbu, Anata no daijōbu." I reassured him, he nodded as his breathing heavy. "Get on the board like your wife." The husband looked confused, I sighed mentally then translated it for him, "Anata no tsuma no yō ni bōdo ni noru." A light bulb hit him.
