I parked in the parking lot of the The Bavarian Bier Café. I walked in and saw Jesse sitting at a table for two. There was a few people around the Café.
"Hey Jess"
"Hey Vanessa..... Wow you look beautiful!" He said looking me up and down.
"Thanks" I blushed looking down at the floor while was still Jesse looking at me. He got up and pulled out the empty chair for me. "What a gentleman." I sat down and Jesse went back to his seat. We looked at the menu and talked for awhile.
"I want to know more about you. Can I ask you some questions?" Jesse asked well looking me in the eyes
"Sure"
"I'll start with simple one. What's your favourite colour?" Jesse asked
"Um..... I love the colour of the ocean's waters."
"Why couldn't you just say blue?" Jesse ask curiously
"Because then you would think of plain blue and plain is boring." I said smiling, Jesse chuckled.
The waiter walked up to our table. "The can I get you guys today?" He asked
"I'll get The Famous Crispy Pork Knuckle." I said setting down the menu
"Okay, and for a drink?" The waiter asked.
"Just water would be fine."
"And for you sir?" The waiter asked looking at Jesse
"And I'll have the BBQ Ribs and I'll have water as well." The waiter wrote down what we wanted then smiled and walked away.
A few moments later the waiter brought our water. Jesse continued to asked questions,
"This might sound creepy but where do you live? Like do you live by Bondi, Tamarama, Maroubra?"
"I live by Tamarama. Where do you live?"
"Maroubra."
"Oh that's a 16 minute drive from Tamarama cool."
"What's your last name?" Jesse asked
"White, and yours?"
"Pollock."
He asked more questions and before we knew it our food had arrived.
We eat our food and talked small talk.

We decided not to have dessert because of how full we were so we just got the check.
"I'll pay." I said getting my credit card out of my purse.
"No, no, I'll pay."
"You sur-" Jesse cur me off knowing what I was going to say.
"Yes I'm sure, my meal was the most expensive."
"Well if you want I'll pay for my meal.. it was $28.00 that's quite the bit."
"No it's fine." He said chuckling
"Okay, but I'm going to buy you a drink some day to repay."
"You already replayed me, remember that bottle of Cab Sav you got for the chaps and I after when we helped save your life?"
"Oh right, but this is different." Jesse couldn't help but chuckle.
"You are very determined."
