"Princess? Glad to see you're accepting your true form."
I joked as i looked up at the once again- far too over confident- Luke Fennaro. I yawned as I walked down the hall, my eyes closing for a moment before opening them.

"Why of course," he began stopping at his locker, "i wouldn't be myself if i didn't." he smirked letting go of my waist, and turning the lock to the correct combination.

I casually leaned against the cold metal locker aside his, biting my lip slightly. As he grabbed his books, he let his eyes roam me. That being before, he shrugged and grabbing his books. He closed his locker, turning towards me, leaning against his locker smirking slightly.

"you look like you're dead." He chuckled, raising an eyebrow at me slightly.

"Who knows, maybe I am. I could have come back from the dead to kill you!" I gasped quietly with a sprouting grin filling my lips.

"hm, oh yes, the girl who can barely use a butter knife, has come to kill me. How fearful I am!" he teased walking away as I followed. I wasn't going to enjoy being extraordinarily clingy to him, but I didn't exactly give myself a steady choice.

"oh shush." I said catching up to him as we walked down the hallway.

"From what I believe, we both have to go bond in Mr. Porters class of non-English chemistry." He wiggled his eyebrow, as he continued walking.

"Yes, I'll even hold your hand if you get scared, I know he tends to scare you." I grin as he rolled his eyes chuckling softly, shaking his head slightly as he turned the corner.

"Come on Princess," he said with a smirk, gently walking into the classroom.

The class flew for once, and here I was at my locker again. Lets say, thanks to Princess Luke, I'm stuck in detention. Which- obviously- I wasn't exactly happy about. Though, I'll live.

"Ding dong." Jeremy said gently tapping the locker next to mine with a goofy grin, it was Jeremy, who was I to expect anymore?

"The witch is dead?" I asked as I looked up to him, look around the door of my halfway open locker.

"Sadly no, she's right around the corner, better get your bucket of water Dorothy." he teased as he scratched his head yawning slightly.

"So, I heard someone was a bad bad girl, detention?"
he chuckled as he closed my locker for me, walking towards the classroom. This was one of the 3 classes him and I shared, it sucked. I've done it for three years, I can last one more.

"Yes, I was being so rebellious, that Mr. Porter couldn't take it, so he sent me to detention." I smirked as

We quickly grabbed out usual seats, sitting against the wall with a smile. My eyes closing for a moment as my head gently rested on his shoulder. I felt my head beginning to drift away, as I groaned quietly.

That was until he painfully poked my arm whisper yelling, "Wake up!"
He repeated the dreadful process for a while, until I finally woke up, just when the teacher walked into the classroom. For once, she was late, thankfully.

Soon thirty minutes were over, and we only had ten left, as she carried on reading in our books. As I gently rested my cheek in my palm, writing up knows with the other, as I read ahead. I stretched my back biting my lip with a slightly yawn.

Soon enough the bell rung, and Jere and I snuck away quickly as we stopped at his locker, then mine. Until we then walked to lunch, yawning until I had another person on my left, though Jeremy on my right.

I strolled down the hall, Jeremy to my right, and now as I only call, Princess -Luke- to the left.

Jeremy snuck off to go talk to a girl, Jasmine to be exact, he's liked her since the first grade, cliché? Hell yes, which is why I enjoyed it so much. The radiating awkwardness, surrounding my silence. It's really a show to itself.

"Hello Princess," I said to Luke as we stopped at my locker, just to put my books in, then his. Same as always, and extremely boring.

"Good morning-afternoon thy Rebel." He yawned as we followed the crowd to the cafeteria, my back hurting the slightest.  "You should write another book, The Gorgeous Princess and the snobby Rebel. "

"Oh my god! Yes, That's It! We could even make a movie off of It!" I grinned as I stood in line aside him, honestly, I had now clue what line we were in. I only chose it because it was the shortest.

He chuckled shaking his head as dug his hands in his pockets. His eyes sliding across the cafeteria, winking at a group of freshman girls. I just rolled my eyes pulling out my phone, biting my lips as stared the scrolling through instagram posts.

I glanced back up at him, raising an eyebrow as he doing the same as I, before looking back down at my phone.

At least, we all he will never change.
Because Change scares him.
It always has.
