MaNan: After Musicana

Chapter 2

Next morning Manik woke up with a hope that he will meet Nandini. He got ready and left for SPACE. Once he reached SPACE he went to the canteen and sat with his friends. Students kept coming up to them to congratulate them for winning Musicana, they were all talking but Manik was lost he constantly looking at the entrance hoping for Nandini to come. He saw Navya coming and smiled thinking Nandini would be with her, but she wasn't. Navya was asking everyone if they had seen Nandini. Finally she came to fab 5.

Nav: Have you guys seen Nandini

Aly: No

Dhr: Isn't she with you

Nav: If she was I wouldn't be here

Cab: One minute she isn't with you then where is she

Nav: I don't know since yesterday she is missing

Dhr: When did you last meet or talk to her

Nav: Yesterday when we came for Musicana she said she had some work and will meet me after that but I didn't find her after that

Hearing this Manik's head shot up as that work was to meet him and what he did, this took Manik's worry to another level. He was just hoping that she hadn't taken any drastic step. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't realize Cabir was calling him.

Cab: Manik... Manik (he shook him) Manik

Man: Huh... what happened

Cab: I'm calling you since the past five minutes you're not responding where are you lost

Man: Uh... nowhere... what were you saying

Muk: Did you see Nandini yesterday

Manik didn't know what to say he couldn't lie to his friends but he couldn't tell the truth either.

Man: N... No I didn't see her yesterday

Nav: Are you sure ( she said while looking at him suspiciously as she remembered that he called her last night asking about Nandini)

Man: Yeah (he said while looking at the table)

Nav: Okay I am leaving to find Nandini (she left)

Muk: Don't you guys think it's weird I mean yesterday for the performance she wasn't there

Cab: Yes something isn't right

Aly: Guys why are we talking about her what's it to us where she is

Dhr: But Alya what if something happened to her

Aly: Navya is there for her

Muk: Guys stop... lets go jam

They all left to jam. But Manik was still worried for Nandini and she still wasn't answering his calls. Cabir noticed his restlessness and thought to talk to him later. They started playing but Manik was not able to play properly as his heart and him mind were worried as to where Nandini is? Was she safe?

Muk: Manik what happened

Man: Nothing

Aly: Then why aren't you playing properly

Dhr: Buddy are you okay

Man: I'm okay... I need a break I'll be back

Fab 4: Okay

He left and went to the staircase where he would meet Nandini. He remembered how they used to fight. He felt a hand on shoulder he thought it would be Nandini and quickly turned around but it was Cabir. Cabir knew Manik was disturbed with something and thought to talk to him so followed him to the stairs.
