MaNan: After Musicana

Chapter 8

The following morning Ahbi and Manik both woke up and greeted each other. After wishing Nandini Abhi left to fresh 'n' up and get Nandini's files so the doctor could treat her and she would heal soon. But little did he know the medication would only treat her physical wounds... what about her emotional wounds who would heal them... would they ever get healed. Manik messaged Cabir to get him some clothes. He sat down next to Nandini and was just watching her thinking about their journey in the past three months... their fights... their romance and then Musicana night where he destroyed everything... broke the one who was already broken. He didn't realise when tears came out his eyes and down his cheeks. Soon the door opened and his friends walked in with Aryaman and Sanaya. He quickly wiped his tears and gave them a smile.

Man: Hey guys

Younger clan: Hi

Cab: Your clothes

Man: Thanks

Cabir handed Manik the bag and Manik went to the washroom to change. The others settled around Nandini and started to talk. Soon Manik came back and Abhi also from the doctors cabin as he had gone to give Nandini's files.

Cab: So where are you guys from

Ary: USA

Muk: The USA wow

Ali: So how did you guys meet

Abh: Well me and Nandini are cousin brothers and sisters so we already knew each other

San: We were in first grade Abhi and Aryaman were in second grade at the time... we didn't really talk just simple hello hi or school work.. then in third grade one day I was sitting on a bench outside on my own the rest of the kids were playing then Nandini came up to me and asked me why I'm sitting on my own I told her I don't have any friends as the kids thought was a bad girl cause Priya one of our class mates told the class that i pushed down the stairs when I didn't Nandini asked me she would like to be my friend I was shocked but agreed and then Nandini introduced me to Abhi and told me that he is her brother Abhi and Aryaman were already friends so he introduced him to us then we became friends

Ary: After that we used to hang out a lot we learnt about each other and as time passed we became best friends... you know before the accident Nandini used to be so sweet and caring so happy and carefree she lived her life to the fullest she even played pranks... but that one incident changed everything she was no more the carefree jolly Nandini... it was like we didn't even know who she is... she's a totally different person

San: She was a very strong and confident girl she wouldn't let anyone control her or break her

Abh: Only one thing could give someone control over her

Fab 5 and Navya looked at him with curosity. They wanted to know what that thing was.

Abh: Her Appa's pen (Her fathers pen)

Fab 5 felt guilty as they remembered what they did with her fathers pen.

Abh: You know she could do anything for the pen anything means anything even if she hated that thing she would do it just to get the pen

Fab 5 remembered how she agreed to be Manik's spot just for the pen at that time they didn't understand and didn't want to but hearing Abhi made them feel even more guilty and sad.

Abh: Nandini was very close to her father she was close to all her family but had a special bond with her father... maybe that's why after his death she changed

Nav: Its said a daughter is close to her father and a son is close to his mother

Hearing this Manik huffed and mummered.

Man: Yh right

All heard him. Abhi Aryaman Sanaya and Navya were confused where as Fab 4 understood what he meant and gave him an assuring smile.

San: What happened

Man: Nothing

Ary: You sure

Man: Yh

To divert everyone's attention Cabir spoke.

Cab: So you said Nandini played pranks what kind of pranks did she play

Hearing this Abhi Aryaman and Sanaya smiled as they remembered all the pranks she would play and even they joined her in a few.

Ary: She played many pranks she never feared what the consequences would be she just did what she want

San: You know once this boy misbehaved with Nandini he said she's colourful and he wanted to see what other colours she had so Nandini told him to meet her in the canteen after half an hour we were confused with what she was doing she told us to go and wait in the canteen we went and after sometime she joined us we asked her what she's up to she told us to wait and watch you wouldn't believe what she did

Fab 5 and Navya looked at them curosity wanting to know what she did.

Abh: Whilst we were sitting the guy that misbehaved with her walked in and two buckets filled with different colours of paint fell all over him... everyone in the canteen and outside who saw it were laughing at him he looked ridiculous after controlling our laughter we walked towards him and Nandini said to him you wanted to see my colours now you seen them I hope you liked them and walked away

All were shocked listening to them the Nandini they saw was nothing like that... infact the Nandini they saw was very sweet and innocent.

Muk: Are you sure she's the same Nandini... I mean she's not like that she's very innocent and caring

Abh: We told you she's change... she isn't our same old Nandini

Cab: Don't worry once she is better we will make her your old Nandini again

Dhr: So tell us what else did she do

Ary: Okay so there was this girl she was always behind me she said she really liked me but I didn't like her so I rejected her but still she didn't leave me alone so one day Nandini asked her would she do anything for me the girl replied yes so Nandini asked to her to eat ten chocolate bars

All were shocked listening to him.

Ary: First she denied but Nandini kept saying she said she could so anything for me but still she denied so Nandini forced her to eat the chocolate bars

Aly: Ten chocolate bars I would never eat that many I would put on so much weight no way never

All laughed seeing Alya.

Muk: Chill Alya she didn't tell you to eat ten chocolate bars

Aly: Even if she did I wouldn't

Cab: Wow seems like I have a new partner to play pranks with

Muk: Hey what about me

Cab: What about you

Muk: How mean

She got up and smaked his head. All giggled seeing them. Suddenly they heard a sound it sounded like a rumble all looked towards Cabir as the sound came from near him.

Cab: Sorry but I didn't eat so...

Man: Guys go and eat something you haven't eaten since quite a while

Cab: Okay

Abh: You won't go

Man: No

Abh: But why

Muk: He never goes he always sits here with Nandini

Abh: Oh

Abhi Aryaman and Sanaya smiled hearing this. They were happy that there was someone there to look after Nandini in their absence but little did they know he was the reason she was there in the first place. They all left to the cafeteria and brought some food then went back to Nandini's room and ate there whilst they talked more about their childhood and Nandini's pranks.
