MaNan: After Musicana

Chapter 17

Upon arriving at the terrace they all stood there staring at Nandini, as she looked at them with confusion written on her face unable to decipher the emotions on their faces.

Nan: What happened guys why did you pull me out?

She questioned as they continued to stare at her with what she could now identify as concern.

San: Are you okay?

Nan: Of course I am why wouldn't I be

Ary: Because so much has happened recently and now you are paired with him for a project for the rest of the semester

Nan: So?

San: You don't even know him, none of us do, are you going to be comfortable working with him under such circumstances?

Nan: I know but you heard what the professor said he isn't going to change the partners and I'm sure it won't be that bad

San: Are you sure?

Before she could answer her question Abhimnayu spoke up, this being the first time he spoke since they came to the terrace, as he had been observing their interaction.

Abh: Guys calm down, if she is sure she can handle it then trust her, remember this is our Nandini and she is very strong... right?

He turned towards Nandini at the end as she nodded in response assuring them that she is strong and will be able to handle this.

Abh: Besides we will always be around so if anything happens she won't be alone and if something does happen you will inform us right away... okay

Nan: Okay

Whilst the group were at the terrace indulged in their conversation, back in the classroom Manik was indulged in conversation with Cabir regarding what had just happened. He just didn't understand what had happened to cause this change in their behaviour.

Man: Where do you think they went

Cab: I don't know but I'm sure there around here somewhere

Man: But what could have caused them to leave like that and even before when we came did you see how they were in a group talking and stopped as soon as we came

Cab: I know something just isn't right but I don't know what

Man: Do you think they found out?

Cab: Found out what?

Man: What happened between me and Nandini

Cab: But how... I mean Nandini doesn't even remember anything and no one else knows what happened

Man: But what else could it be

Cab: Don't worry we'll find out and everything will be fine

Man: Hmm... your right

They continued talking with one another about different topics as the rest of the class continued on their projects with their partners. Meanwhile back at the terrace the group had finished their conversations.

Abh: Now lets head back down its almost time for the next class

Ary: Lets go

San: Wait we need to get our bags from class we didn't bring them with us

Nan: But what will we say for leaving so suddenly

Abh: Don't worry about it just go in and get your bags then come back out... I will talk to the Professor about why we left

All agreed with him as they made their way back down to the class. As they reached the classroom they took a deep breath before entering and going straight to the back to retrieve their belongings before they made their way back outside. As they headed back out Abhimanyu went towards the Professor to explain what was happening telling him that an emergency had occured. As they had entered and left the whole class watched them until they had left. Whilst all this was happening Fab 5's confusion grew even more as they watched the events unfold in front of them. They all glanced towards one another with confusion etched across each of their faces. Leaving the classroom they all headed to their next class.
