So my big thing is I usually end short stories with dialogue. I keep getting told that's a no no but I feel dialogue is one of my personal strong suits so it just feels right to me. Always end where it feels right wrap it up in a little bow. You can always always end at the beginning kind of like a circular story that starts with like "roses are red" and ends with that line as well.
