I was at home waiting for my son Luke to come home from high school since his teacher called me saying he skipped class today when my phone rings while I'm waiting.

Me: hello?
???: Hello is this Luke y/l/n's mother
Me: yes and who Is this?
???: I'm Albert and I'm calling from the police station because your son got arrested
Me: what did he do???
Albert: we caught him on the streets selling drugs
Me: OMG!! I'll be there in a minute
Albert: OK mam

I ran in the kitchen to get my keys then I ran to my car and go in. Ever since Luke's dad left us when he was 10 things started to go down hill. I had to get three jobs to keep a roof over our heads. Luke kept getting into fights and  doing stupid things in class. When he got to highschool he started to hand with the wrong crowd. Luke and I had talk about that and he promised me to never follow in their foot steps but it seems to me he is but what really gets me that he is sneaking around and doing it. I tried to raise Luke well but he needs a male role model in his life.
I don't have any brothers so it's very hard and plus I'm not really looking for a man.

- at the police station-
I went in and asked for Robert then Robert took me to Luke.

Me: Luke are you OK?
Luke: yes mom..
Me: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING I THOUGHT WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS BUT CLEARLY I'M WAS WRONG!
Luke: I was trying to make money for you so you don't have to worry about keeping a roof over our heads
Me: Luke that's thoughtful of you but I can take care of us OK?
Luke: yes mam
Me: how much time do you have?
Luke: if I don't come up with money I'm staying for a year in here?
Me: how much?
Luke: 2,520
Me: I don't have that type of money
Luke : I have some money stashed under my bed
Me: is it drug money?
Luke: yes
Me: no
Luke: mom please just this one time😟
Me: ....Fine but this is the last time and your grounded
Luke: alright I'll see you later
Me: OK

So drove back to my house then got the money and went back to the police station then bailed Luke out of jail. Luke took us out to eat since it was mother's day.

Five years later
Everything is going great Luke got out the streets and became a singer after he finished college. He bought me a house and everything so I don't have to worry. I have a boyfriend name Albert yes I said Albert. After what happened at the police station Albert and i have been getting close so all you know we're dating now. Right now everything is just perfect! I love my son!
