Kayaking ✖️

Looking back, we have already did a number of activities involving water. And all of them were absolutely fun. Which is a shame that we had to let this go.

The lake we planned to kayak at was totally in our comfortable travel range but well, chance of plans can always be an element of play. And in this case, you had to attend that very important interview.

I knew that my persuasions were going to be thrown straight to the trash but I just felt like it would be nice if we could have gone on with this idea and enjoyed kayaking together surrounded with amazing sunny weather and calm tranquil atmosphere of the lake.

However, the interview was more important. You had to get pass through the interview for you to head in the right path to be a step closer to achieving your dreams. As much as I tried to convince you otherwise, it just a mere act of trying.

I would still accompany you to head to the interview. Which was located in one of the busiest district in the city. Far, utterly far from what we could experience if we had gone kayaking.

Totally sounds like I'm not letting go of this right?

You suggested that we could adjust to another date that will be the most perfect time to get this one ticked. I turned you down and reminded you how you were the one who made the rule. Which was, if it is not accomplished on the first plan, it is considered a cross.

"Rules are meant to be broken." Your reply which made me burst out a chuckle.

"If we were to broke the rules since the start, we wouldn't have made this bucket list unique."

Listening, very attentively to my explanation of the explanation you gave to me when we started this list, we finally got to let this go.

At the end of it all, you felt confident in your interview and we got lunch together. While joking around on how fun kayaking would have been. Your imagination and thorough delineation made it seemed like we actually did kayak around the lake, being showered by sunshine and lung cleansing air.

Or that was what you described to me. It was so detailed I thought for a quick second I was in a kayak and holding a paddle instead of a sandwich!
