Spending the night in the library ✔️

It was bizarre because I had never heard of such a thing but then again, there we were. Inside a tent in one of the halls of the library. To think about it, it's weird when you monotonously gave out the suggestion, "let's check in for a night at the nearby library" as you were scrolling through your phone.

You were enjoying reading that novel you had a hard time getting your hands on, seeing how it was an older publication and most of the shops you went to never took in any new stocks of it. I was hoping you didn't notice how I tried to be that amazing photographer taking some really great shots you would deem worth the tumblr 'aesthetics' — like in all honestly, I have a touch for aesthetics yet you don't really believe that deep into me. You did have the right to doubt when I've always purposely sent you blurred and just ugly shots of you.

But then, you noticed and just smiled it off before going back into the world of that book. Embarrassed, I quickly turned to look at the book shelve I had leaned against. And in the middle of trying to rid of that embarrassment, a little boy tugged on my shirt and cutely asked if I could read the fable tales he had chosen. How could I say no when he had the cutest expression?

I guess I was too focused on trying to make him laugh and had an enjoyable time reading with me, I didn't noticed how I had almost a dozen kids sitting in a circle and listening attentively. And well, there's you at the back, with a beaming smile as you took in the whole scene.

In the end, we both spent the evening reading stories for children and teaching them to read, as well. We even used up almost the whole night to talk about some favourite book scenes and the different ways of writing.

The whole experience was indeed an eccentric thing to add to a bucket list. In the context that it was compared to those bucket list ideas you've looked up on tumblr and other sites. But then, why wouldn't it be different when you're a bit on the unorthodox side. Right?
