Chapter 9

When Umbridge disappeared in her classroom Mcgonagall came and told everyone to go to their classes
"are you mental?" Asked Ron "you got detention in the second day, (Y/N) second day!!"
"She did the right thing" said Harry "I would've done the same thing, if not more"
"But now you have detention with Umbridge" said Hermione
"Harry got a detention with her" you said and looked at his right hand
"Harry's used to detentions but this is your first time" she said
"I don't care" you said but inside you cared because she's going to make you write many many lines with your own blood. You walked to your class and sat next to Harry
"What about our promise?" He asked
"I'm sorry Harry I couldn't help myself" you said and took your book out
"I understand but, be careful remember what Tony said" he said and took his book out of his bag too
"Don't worry about me" you said with a smile.
During all your classes and lunch you couldn't stop thinking about that detention that will bring you lots of pain. It's not like you were afraid you fought many people in your world but here, it was different you're not the same person. That's why you were afraid of pain.
At five O'clock you were in her office, sitting down and holding the quill. She looked at you and said
"You can begin"
"What should I write?" You asked
"Maybe you can write 'I will not act on my own' " she said and you started to write.
You felt the pain on the back of your hand but it was nothing comparing to what will come. You kept everything inside you, you wanted to scream, you wanted to drop the quill, you wanted to wipe the blood that was now dripping on the paper but you didn't do any of these, you kept writing as if it wasn’t hurting you even Umbridge was a little impressed with your ability to stay calm. When it was time for dinner she stopped you
"I think it's enough" she said "I hope you learnt your lesson" she said and you nodded
"Never help anyone in need even though the teachers are listening because they're ignoring everything" you said and walked out of her office. Once you were out you took few tissues out of your pocket and pressed them on the fresh cuts and hoped that by the time you arrive to the great hall it would stop the blood.

When you walked inside the great hall everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at you, you walked slowly to your table that's when the Slytherin boy that you helped ran to you and hugged you
"Thank you for saving me" he said and you hugged him back
"You're welcome" you said "What's your name?"
"Aiden" he said and you smiled at him
"Well my name is (Y/N) Stark" you said
"you're really nice! I've never seen a nice Gryffindor" he said
"There are many nice Gryffindors out there" you said and he ran to the Slytherin table and was talking with his friends as if he was telling them about a great thing he's done. You sat down on the Gryffindor table and they all started to clap loudly and cheering, even Mcgonagall and Tony were clapping and Bruce was the only one clapping from the Ravenclaw table.
"Did we win the house cup or..?" You asked and they all laughed "no seriously what's wrong?"
"It's you (Y/N)" said Lee " you showed everyone what a true Gryffindor is and you made us all so proud"
"It was nothing really" you said "where is he anyway?"
"In the hospital wing" said Ginny
"I was hoping that he'll go to St. Mungo's but anyway" you said and they laughed again
"Tony rewarded us though" said Fred who was sitting next to you while he was putting food on your plate "one hundred points!! He's truly an amazing teacher" by the time he stopped putting different kinds of food on your plate you started to eat but made sure that no one notice your hand which was very hard because you eat with it!!.
When you finished your meal and it was the time to go back to the Gryffindor tower you walked with Harry but stopped when Fred walked to you
"Harry would you mind if I walked with (Y/N) instead?" He asked "you can have George he's available"
"Ouch" said George
"No, you can walk with her" said Harry and turned to Ron and Hermione.
Fred waited until no one was in the halls then he started to walk
"I'm very excited for the first Hogsmeade trip you know" he said "I want the date to be perfect because.............you deserve perfection" you blushed a little but you were very touched by his words
"Well I'm excited too and I know that it will be an amazing date" you said and felt his hand next to yours, you panicked inside but couldn't do anything because you felt him holding your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours and gave your hand a squeeze. You've been holding the pain for so long so when that happened you wouldn't help but to gasp and pull your hand away
"What's wrong?" He asked and looked at your hand, blood was covering the tissues that you placed on the cuts but it wasn't enough to stop the bleeding "(Y/N) what happened to you?" He asked and you could hear the fear and anger in his voice
"Umbridge" you said and saw how angry he was "Fred no plea-" before you could even finish your sentence, Fred ran to her office and your ran behind him
"FRED!!" You yelled but he didn't stop until he was infront of her office, he kicked the door open and stormed inside
"HOW DARE YOU!!" he yelled at her, you ran inside and saw him standing infront of her while she gazed at him without showing any emotions
"SHE FREAKING SAVED THAT BOY! A SLYTHERIN BUT SHE DIDN'T CARE AND YOU PUNISHED HER? WHAT KIND OF A TEACHER ARE YOU?" He continued to yell at her and you heard some teachers running towards Umbridge's office
"I don't know what you're talking about" she said calmly. He glared at her and dragged you next to him and showed her your injured hand
"Can you see it now?" He asked and she smiled
"I need to punish the students here Mr. Weasley " she said
"Listen to me you old rag-" before he could say anything else she stunned him and he fell on the floor.
"Fred!!" You yelled and kneeled beside his head, you didn't even realise that Tony and Mcgonagall ran inside the office
"What have you done to him?" Asked Mcgonagall as she lifted Fred with a spell
"He needs to be punished" said Umbridge as they carried Fred away from her. You looked at her with watery eyes but your eyes had nothing but hate in them
"You. Will. Regret. It" you said and followed them. They were heading to the hospital wing running as fast as they could while Fred was still unconscious and you noticed that his head was bleeding
"A student walking in the halls after curfew!!" Yelled Filch but you were NOT in the mood for him
"SHUT UP SQUIB!!" You yelled but it came harsher than what you thought it would be but you didn't care, all that matters was Fred.
When you arrived to the hospital wing you saw that Madam Pomfrey had already healed his wound and now she was talking with Mcgonagall and Tony
"No need to worry he will wake up tomorrow and his wound is not that serious as well" she said
"Thank you" said Mcgonagall and looked at you "Stark you need to tell me what happened"
"I would absolutely love it if you called me (Y/N)" you said "it's just when you say Stark it makes me feel that you're talking with Tony that's it"
"Not the time for this (Y/N) tell us what happened" said Tony and you can clearly see that he was angry
You told them what happened and showed them your hand (Tony glared at you for getting detention with Umbridge) and told them that she stunned him.
"Stunning students is not what we want this school to be based on" said Mcgonagall "we need to talk to the headmaster about this immediately professor Stark come with me. (Y/N) go to your dormitory"
"Professor, can I stay with him?" You asked "please?" She looked at you, thinking for a moment then said
"Of course my dear. Poppy arrange a bed for (Y/N) please" and then they both left. You walked to the bed that Madam Pomfrey was standing next to which was next to Fred's. She gave you an extra pillow and walked away. You tried to sleep but you kept looking at Fred every time you remember what happened, finally you stood up, took a chair and sat beside Fred's bed
"I can't leave you" you said and held his hand, something that he was trying do and closed your eyes.....
