Chapter 15

The next day you and Harry arrived early in the Room of Requirement for the last D.A meetings before the holidays.
"Oh my god" you said and started to laugh loudly. Dobby had taken it upon himself to decorate the room for Christmas. About hundred golden Baubles were strung from the ceiling, each shows a picture of Harry's face and bearing the legends HAVE A VERY HARRY CHRISTMAS!
"No" he said and started to remove them "can you help me?"
"No this is too amusing" you said he only had managed to get the last of them down before Luna came in, looking dreamy as always.
"Hello" she said looking around of what remains of the decoration "these are nice, did you put them up?"
"No" said Harry "Dobby the house-elf"
"Mistletoe" she said pointing at a large clump of white berries placed almost over Harry's head. He jumped out from under it "good thinking. It's often infested with Nargles"
"What are Nargles?" You whispered
After that Angelina, Katie and Alicia came in and they were breathless and very cold. Ron, Hermione and Neville entered and after five minutes the room was full.
"Okay" said Harry "I thought this evening we should just go over the things we've done so far, because it's the last meeting before the holidays and there's no point starting anything new right before a three-week break-"
"We're not doing anything new?" Asked Zacharias "If I'd known that I wouldn't have come...." he whispered but everyone heard it
"We're all really sorry Harry didn't tell you then" said Fred loudly which made you laugh and several people sniggered
"We can practice in pairs" said Harry "we'll start with the Impediment Jinx, just for ten minutes, then we can get out the cushions and try Stunning again"
This time you partnered with Thor while Loki partnered with Zacharias. The room was full with cries of 'Impedimenta' and people froze for a minute or so while their partner stared at the other members
"IMPEDIMENTA!!"
"IMPEDIMENTA!!"
You and Thor yelled at the same time which caused the jinx to crash and sent you both to different sides of the room instead of freezing. You hit the wall hard and fell on the floor.
"(Y/N)!!" Yelled Fred as he ditched George and ran to you with Harry behind him. Fred kneeled beside you and lifted your head
"(Y/N) are you alright?" Asked Harry. You opened your eyes slowly and looked at them, they looked so worried but you couldn't help but to laugh
"Oh no, Thor turned her insane" said George
"Lady (Y/N)!!" Yelled Thor and sat next to Fred "I am very sorry my Lady please forgive me, I shall never point a wand at you ever again!!"
"That was awesome" you said while laughing. Harry sighed and Fred laughed too
"Maybe we should not pair the strongest members together" whispered Harry to Fred
"I agree" said Fred and helped you to stand up
"Let's start Stunning now" said Harry "we don't want more accidents so (Y/N) you can rest now"
You sat on the floor still giggling to yourself while Harry watched them stun the cushions. Half of the members were waiting for their turn while the others were practicing.
You thought about the letter that you sent to Mrs. Weasley and will she accept bringing Loki with you? You hoped so because it's unfair for him to stay on his own. But what if she accepts and then it turns out that he's really a death eater?
'No' you thought 'he's not a death eater'. But what if he IS a death eater? He did say that you will regret making fun of Tom Riddle weeks ago, but he joined D.A and he's spending more time with Bruce and Thor so maybe he's not a death eater....?
After an hour of thinking, Harry called a halt.
"You're getting really good" he said beaming "when we get back from the holidays we can start doing some of the big stuff--maybe even Patronuses"
There was a murmur of excitement. You were so excitement because you've always wanted to know what your Patronus is. The room started to clear and you walked to Harry
"How are you feeling?" He asked
"Good" you said "Don't worry about me! I've had worse hits"
"Really?" He asked shocked and then you remembered that he doesn't know that you're an Avenger
"Yeah......Tony likes to invent stuff and usually I'm the one that helps him so...yeah" you said
"Just be careful" he said and collected the cushions with Ron and Hermione and stacked them them away neatly.
"Hey (Y/N)" said Hermione "it seems that Fred is waiting for you" she said and you looked behind you. It was true Fred was standing alone by the door.
"Maybe he'll finally confess his deep love for you" she said
"I doubt it" you said
"He talks about you all the time" said Ron "it drives me mad. But my mom loves listening to what he says about you, she met you twice and wants to meet you again"
After that Ron and Hermione both left the room and you walked to Harry
"Harry" you whispered
"What?" He asked
"Cho is standing alone" you said and pointed your head at her "I think she wants to talk to you"
"Are you sure?" He asked and looked at her
"Yes Harry" you said and pushed him "it's your moment"
He walked to her and stood there as awkward as ever and you noticed the little Mistletoe started to form
'Time to go' you thought and walked to the door
"(Y/N)" said Fred "can I talk to you?"
"Yes, of course" you said and you both walked out of the door
"Mom sent this" he gave you a letter "she said that your owl was almost frozen so she kept him"
"Is he alright?" You asked
"Yeah she's taking care of him" he said and sighed
"Are you alright?" You asked
"(Y/N) i'm just going to say it" he said and held your hand "I really really like yo- NO! I LOVE you! I know you might not feel the same because we're the total opposite but I can't keep it inside me any more" he said and squeezed your hand "I know i'm not the perfect guy, and I know that i'm such a trouble maker but please (Y/N). Will You Be My Girlfriend?"
You stared at him for moment trying to decide if this is real or did you hit your head that hard
"Well.......this is awkward" he said and let go of your hand
"NO" you said which caused him to jump a little "I love you too" you said and hugged him. He hugged you back at first and then started to spin you around.
When he put you down he looked at you, still smiling and leaned down to kiss you
'Oh god' you thought as he placed his lips on yours for a soft kiss, you responded immediately, surprising yourself, as he wrapped his arm around your waist. You didn't want this moment to stop but pulled away slowly but he never let go of you
"Wow" he said started to turn red
"Yeah. Wow" you said with a grin
"We should go now" he said "we don't want detention straight after Christmas"
"Yeah....yeah" you said and he laughed at you
"You're adorable" he said and pinched your cheek. He held you hand and started to walk
"(Y/N). Word" said Tony as he appeared literally out of nowhere
"How do you even find me?" You asked
"It's a secret" he said "Fred do you mind?"
"No" he said and let go of your hand "see you tomorrow"
"See you" you said and walked behind Tony. While walking to his office you opened the letter and started to read
"YES!!" You yelled and Tony jumped two feet in the air
"What's wrong with you?" He asked with wide eyes
"Molly said that she would LOVE to meet Loki" you said "I need to tell him to pack his trunk"
"He's in my office" he said and opened the door
"I know you're tired but I want to tell you that Arthur is in his house right now and no harm will be done" said Tony
"Who took his place?" Asked Bruce
"Steve" said Tony "he's an unspeakable he knows the place better than anyone"
"That's it?" You asked "you dragged me away from Fred just to tell me this?"
"Yes" he said "now go away I need to rest"
"At least we know Mr. Weasley is safe" said Thor as he closed the door behind him
"We should thank Steve tomorrow" you said
"We should" he said
"Oh my god I almost forgot" you said "Loki you'll come with us"
"Where?" He asked
"To the Burrow! And spend Christmas with the Weasleys" you said
"But they did not invite me" he said
"I asked her if it's ok to bring you with us and Mrs. Weasley agreed" you said "she's a nice lady you know"
"Lady (Y/N)" yelled Thor and hugged you "you are the most thoughtful person I have ever met"
"Thanks" you said and looked at Loki. He was trying to hide his smile but you caught it
"You can smile and be happy you know" you said "If I were you, I would've exploded from happiness"
"Thank you" he said and gave you a smile "good night" he said and walked away
"He really means it" said Thor "he doesn't normally thank people"
"We're friends" you said "it's my job to keep him happy".
