Stay Away From Me (Complete)

Chapter 2

I was apparently greeted by the guard standing at the gate. Seriously, I was a little nervous. This is our first date since nong sinagot ko siya last month.

I still can't forget when I look at myself in a mirror after Clara and Lea fix me up. With my carraige and aura now I can say that I look better now. I wear a pink casual dress and Clara's make up scheme made it even more beautiful. I'm so thankful with them even though a lot of drama happened before we came here. Without them, I wouldn't look like this on my first date with Jay.

"What are you waiting for? Tara na." Sambit ni Clara ng makapasok na kami sa bahay nila Jay. I saw her  excitement in her eyes. As if her mood suddenly changed when she found out that they were invited to go to Jay's house.

"Maganda manood don sa may sala nila kasi malaki yung screen ng tv."
Lea said as she and Clara held their hands together and I was separated from them. I see that they both have different smiles. It's as if their excitement is more dominant than mine.

"Kaya nga eh tas malambot pa yung sofa." Clara added while sighting me.

"Have you been there na ba?" I asked them both at napatingin naman sila sa akin na gulat na gulat sa tanong ko.

"Nope were just imagining it. Sa ganda ng design nito sa labas paniguradong mas maganda ito sa loob." Sagot naman ni Clara.

Napaisip ako sa sinabi niya. Kung sa tutuusin may sense naman kasi sino ba naman ang hindi magaakala na sa ganda ng bahay nila sa labas ay walang flat screen tv at malambot na sofa sa loob. Kapag nakita mo kasi yung bahay nila mapapalingon ka talaga sa laki at ganda nito.

"I see." Tipid na sagot ko.

"Are you doubting us?" Sambit ni Clara habang tinatansya nito ang kilos ko.

"I'm just asking. Masama ba magtanong." Sagot ko naman. I don't know why I feel different especially with Clara.

"Stop it. Baka san nanaman mapunta yang usapan niyo." Sambit naman ni Lea at agad pumagitna sa aming usapan.

"Were here to support you. So please stop doubting us." Sagot naman ni Clara na para bang nagiinsulto.

"I said stop it." Lea said that she was obviously annoyed with us. I saw the furrowing of her forehead indicating that she was serious now.

I was speechless because Clara had a point. I don't know if my instinct about her liking Jay was right or wrong. I think I'll be even more stressed when I think negatively about it. I don't want to look stupid in front of Jay later which is why I need to compose myself.

"Can we please go inside?" Sambit ni Lea ng matahimik na ang paligid.

"Where is Jay?" Tanong naman ni Clara sakin saka umiwas ng tingin.

"May pinuntahan lang daw saglit." I answered. I wanted to ask why she is looking for Jay instead that I should look for him first because I'm her girlfriend but I didn't do it because I might get angry later.

"Let's go to inside muna and we should wait in living are as what Jay said to me." Sambit ko sakanila at agad naman kaming nagtungo sa sala.

Pagkapasok palang namin sa bahay nila amoy na namin yong presko ng hangin. Malamig at napakaaliwalas sa loob. The design is very minimal but what immediately caught my attention was the large picture frame attached to the wall near the entrance to the 2nd floor. It was him and his mother and father pero may isang lalaki na sa tingin ko kapatid niya. Jay has not legalized me yet that's why I don't know what is in his family but I know that his family are focusing now in business.
