春野サクラ
Sakura Haruno
"Akira."
...---...
"Guys, have you ever heard of these three people: Hiroki Hyuuga, Tatsuya Aburame, and Mireya?" She asked once she flipped the lights open in her new apartment. She knew they'd be there, since they planned to meet up every night. "They're my genin--no, chunin--team. Those names sound familiar, right?"
"Yeah," Satoshi was the first. "Sort of, I think. I've heard of them, but I don't know any more."
"Wait..." Raideshi murmured, turning away. "I know...I've read them..."
"Where?" Akira asked as she moved to the kitchen, preparing dinner for the four of them.
Raideshi then turned back to them, his eye narrowed. "I've read of them, along with the names Minato Namikaze, Rin Nohara, and Obito Uchiha."
Sakura looked down. "Oh..."
Satoshi was still confused. He looked up from his position--he laid on the couch, his legs on an agitated Hideki. "Wait, what does that mean?"
"It means," Akira stated, her attention focused on the bell peppers on the chopping board. "They were dead."
...---...
Akira knew they died in the other timeline. She just didn't know when. It was hard to figure out when she had never seen them in the old timeline, too.
There were only a few major events that had landed people on the Memorial Stone--other than mission deaths--the Kyuubi Attack, Chunin Exams, the Pein Attack, and the Fourth Shinobi War.
The only clue she managed to get out of Raideshi was that the three names weren't on the Memorial Stone while Team Seven were still Academy students. However, the silver haired jounin took a break from visiting the Stone to help rebuild Konoha after the attacks. When he came back (which was a long time since the last he visited), the names were carved on there.
Which means that the Kyuubi Attack was out of the picture, leaving the Chunin Exams, Pein Attack, and the war. But, by the time the war came around, the army was free of any genin or chunin--most of them were jounin, since the numbers were so small.
Which means, they died somewhere between the Kyuubi Attack and Pein's Attack.
Sakura sighed and closed her eyes as she laid down in her bed. I have to know when they die, she thought. So I can save them.
Answers always lie in dreams.
