Your P.O.V

We have searched every where for Alain. We can't find him. We thought he would stay in a pokemon center for the night, but checked in all three pokemon centers and he's not there. I think we should put a tracking device on him before he gets lost again or end up with such an annoying girl. I sighed. I don't want to remember her again. I wonder why was I so jealous. Do I like Alain? No, I can't. I must focus. But... Aghh.. I don't know how I feel. I grunted

"Are you okay? You have been grunting or sighing a lot?" "chespie?" Mairin looked at me with concern

"I'm just really tired now" I lied

"Me too. Let's have lunch. I heard there's a lot of good cafes here. Let's go" She grabbed my hand and pulled me

"We just ate breakfast an hour ago" I said not having the appetite to eat

"It's never to early for lunch" She chirped "Chespie" Her chespin nodded

She was dragging me around. Until she stopped at a cafe with lots of people inside. We heard a bunch of cameras and new reporters. We looked and it was the champion, Diantha. She was talking to a tall red hair dude, who looks quite familiar. Who cares about him. Diantha was there.

"Why's there so much people?" Mairin said while she was trying to squeeze in

"The Kalos champion is here" I said with excitement

"Cool. You want to be like her, right y/n?"

"Yes...I" I was cut off

"You can be like the champion if you can win a battle against me" 

We turned around and saw a guy with black hair and a whole black outfit with a cocky grin plastered on his face, who said that.

"I want to challenge you to a battle" The guy pointed to me

"My name is Ross. I see your mega stone and I can tell your a strong trainer, but not as strong as me" He cockily said

I forgot I place my mega stone bracelet on my glove instead of inside. To shoo away annoying girls again from Alain.

"I, y/n, accept your challenge" I grinned hoping this battle could clear my mind from Alain for a while

"Let's go battle at the alley. Follow if you could keep up" Ross said

Mairin and I followed him in the alley revealing a big battle field.

"But I'm hungry" Mairin said

"It's ok. This will be quick" I winked back at her

"Ready to lose?" Ross asked

"Funny. I was about to ask you the same thing" I comebacked

He grunted "Banette, I choose you"

"Absol, I choose you"

"A shiny absol?!?! Ha Not as impressive as my banette. Banette, use dazzling gleam"

"Absol, protect"

The attack could have been very effective, but Absol was protected.

"Banette, shadow ball"

"Absol, shadow ball"

Both shadow balls collided and exploded. No pokemon was hurt.

"Banette, mega evolve, phantom force"

"Absol, double team"

Banette mega evolved then disappeared. More absols appeared

"Ugh.. Banette, now!"
