Team Flare

Your P.O.V

It was early morning, that means Mairin and chespie is filled with energy.

"CAN WE PLEASE GO TO THE POKEBALL FACTORY?!?!?!" Mairin shouted every minute with chespie nodding at the back and with sparkles in their eyes

"Mairin, the pokeball factory is closed" Alain replied every time

"It was closed yesterday, we should check if it's open" Mairin said with hope

This conversation repeated for almost more that 10 minutes. I was getting tired of it.

I placed my hand on his shoulder "Alain, let's go to the pokeball factory"

He was looking at my hand on his shoulder, then he looked at me. I got embarrassed. I put my hand down. I looked down. I saw a quick blush on his face. I could also feel warmth creeping up my cheek. This is so embarrassing. I placed my hand on his shoulder subconsciously.

I coughed. I looked back at him. "We should just check while we're here"

"Fine" Alain muttered

"YES" Mairin shouted

We were about to leave the pokemon center, but Nurse Joy called Alain, saying his boss is calling him. He left, so Mairin and I had to wait for a while. It took a few minutes, and Alain approached us.

"Lysandre requested me to research a mega stone nearby this city" Alain said bluntly

"We can come with you" I said

"But I want to got the pokeball factory" Mairin pouted

"Y/n go with Mairin to the pokeball factory. I could research by myself" Alain said and left

I hate it how Alain just leaves us. It's like we're nothing to him.  We're friends for god's sake. I mean I hope we are. Maybe something more. At least he saw me battle the gym leader. I sighed

"Come on Mairin. Let's go to the pokeball factory" I said

"Yes" Mairin replied

We left the pokemon center, and Mairin kept talking about random something. It's nice to have such an optimistic person as a companion. We finally reached the pokeball factory. It looked open. We entered the building, and the door automatically opened.

"Wow" Mairin awed at the many pokeballs "Chespie" chespin

It was amazing to look at, but something was strange. The equipment didn't move at all.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" a mysterious voice said

We turned around and saw 2 people wearing a red suit with sunglasses, and had a hairstyle that looked like fire? Oh no. Not again. I have dealt with Team Galactic, Team Magma, Team Rocket, and Team Plasma. Who are these bozos now?

"Sneasel attack" The two mysterious people said

The sneasels attacked with shadow ball. I was too slow to get any of my pokeball, but luckily chespin was there. He attacked with vine whip.

"Mairin stay behind me" I said

"Absol, I choose you" I released Absol from his pokeball.

"Sneasel again" Those two shouted

"Absol, use shadow ball, then ice beam"

Absol attacked the two sneasels with shadow ball. He then froze the two mysterious men. I grabbed Mairin's hand and ran. I didn't know where I am going. I saw a big room, and I was pretty sure it would be the main control room. Absol followed behind.

"Absol when you see a person in a red suit attacked with ice beam" I commanded

From past experience, I know that boss of this factory is in trouble. The whole business is in trouble, in fact.

"Y/n, where are we going?" Mairin asked

"To save the boss" I smiled a reassuring smile

We ran over conveyor belts. Absol attacked all those grunts. We were finally  near in the main room. We ran upstairs to the room. I opened the door. Like what I predicted, the boss was held hostage.  There was another person in the room.

"What is the meaning of this?" the bald guy said

"We are here to save him" I pointed at the boss

"Ha" The bald guys laughed

He released his scrafty and houdoom. I released my lucario. It was a quick battle and I won.

"Y/n" Mairin said

I looked back, there were two scientists. One had purple hair and the other one had green hair. Judging by their different outfits, I knew they were stronger.

"Who are you?" I asked

"We're Team Flare. And we need him to give the master pokeball" The green haired person said

"No" I said

" Did you hear that Bryony? This twerp is trying to battle us" The purple hair person said

"That's funny. Celestia, after we beat her. Let's get her shiny absol" Bryony snickered

" I can beat you two. Mairin stay behind me" I said

Celestia released a manectric and Bryony released a liepard. Absol and Lucario battled against them. I beat them, but it took a while.

"How annoying. Let's go" Celestia said

Team Flare left the factory

"Thank you" The boss when closer and bowed to me

"You're welcome"

"Here take this" The boss gave me a master ball and a big nugget

"Thanks"

I returned my pokemon back to their pokeball. The boss was kind to give us a tour around the factory. It took an hour or so. Mairin and I said our goodbyes and left.

"Hey, y/n how did you know where to go and what to do?" She asked

"From experience" I winked at her

I saw Alain approaching

"Alain, you just missed the coolest thing ever" Mairin said

Mairin then filled in Alain with everything what happened.

It was a quick chapter. I made the story pace faster. Do you like this style or the older style? I'm sorry for there is not much Alain x reader moments, even thought it is an Alain x Reader story. The next week may not have an update. Sorry. Periodical tests are coming up.

The team flare is quite annoying. You beat them like a boss. Where did Alain go?
